To be fair the club deserve this embarrassment for the lack of communication on both the stadium and lack of signings. Hopefully they will pull their socks up now their image has been tarnished.
We don't though.

Yep I said this the other day on here that a couple of defeats and some fans will kick off and vent their anger towards the board and the team suffers.Few bad results on the pitch and it could go very pear shaped. What should have been a glorious time for the club, could turn into an absolute disaster. Don’t underestimate how a bad vibe or disappointment with club staff can filter down to players. I’d imagine there’s a lot of very upset people in the club right now at all levels. When things aren’t right within a club it very quickly transfers onto the pitch as seen with Chelsea Arsenal West Ham last season.
Surely he would not entertain that idea of selling off our better players to get some cash in otherwise the stadium may come down a lot quicker than it went up with those disgruntled fans.
My friends son who now lives in NY wanted to come here with his wife to see the first game at the new stadium i.e. the Liverpoolgame .
He spent £2k on flights and accommodation only now to be told that the game is now at Wembley. Had he known it was at Wembley he wouldnt have come and would have waited for the new opening date.
He sent an email to the club explaining his frustration and the reply he got from DC said she didnt know what he was complaining about as the game was still being played on the same date and at the same time.
This in my opinion typifies the clubs attitude towards us supporters. He wasnt asking for a rebate on his fares abut for an explanation as to why this has happened. A simple apology or some sympathy would have bee nice .but not the curt repl he got.
I love the club and have been going to home and away games including Europe for over 60 years. I have watched probably over 1800 games but the club now sickens me .
I have a ST but this year will be my last,as under the present ownership I think they have lost their soul and Im very sad.
Your mate should have known there was risk involved with any first game. It is what it is. Glory hunter anyway if he is only interested in first game. Snowflake - two shits

Was that really necessary?
Too many people moaning for moanings sake - snowflake generation offended by everything.
They have no idea of the complications on a project of this size and think the world owes them.
The club have been fair.
Stop morning and get over it.
Emirate of Abu DhabiAs someone who's spent his almost his entire working life in the chemical industry, I can assure you that I would certainly not want Jim Ratcliffe anywhere near Spurs. His whole business strategy has been based on buying distressed assets cheaply and then squeezing profit from them. It would break his heart to find himself funding the acquisition of £100 million professional footballers to compete with the likes of the Sultanate of Dubai, when he knows that he could maximise his revenues by maintaining season ticket prices whilst relying on the output from the academy. He's effectively a posher version of Mike Ashley.
ENIC may have many flaws, but Jim Ratcliffe is certainly not the answer. He's clearly a much better fit at Stamford Bridge!
Of late its either been a case of lack of communication or excuses. Heard this morning there have been strong concerns that the stadium was going to be delayed for a while. Imagine that news coming out prior to us signing nobody all Summer.
Well played the Spurs PR department.

So you're telling me, that since VDV came, Levy hasn't been repeatedly leaving deals as late as possible in the window, hoping for a bargain to pop up?
Funny, cause that's exactly what he's been doing without noticing that with hundreds of millions coming in from TV money, so called poor clubs can tell him to F right off when he pulls that shit.
Myopic if taken individually put together, my admittedly infantile rants, show a pattern of taking the club's fanbase for granted. This is not a spurs specific issue but more football generally.
Maybe I should have said losing interest in football generally and western capitalist society. The squeeze every penny out of everyone as possible approach.
My idealistic view is that football clubs should not be run for profit solely. Any profits should be invested back into improving the team and the fans experience.
The go support arsenal line is purposely inflammatory and I thought my response pretty restrained.
