Can't stand Herrera, such a cheat. But actually thought he was one of the few at Utd, that had the right attitude, and could do a job.
Absolutely. You saw how they went to pieces as soon as he was injured this spring, he has been the one player you could always rely on.

Herrera and Ramsey leaving Utd and Arsenal respectively is a result of money mis-management. Both teams absolutely smashed their wage structure for players who don't deserve to be paid that much in comparison to their team mates and what's happened is that naturally other players are asking the club for more money on the back of that, the clubs refused to hand it to them and are both leaving as a result.

This is why it's so important to have a sensible wage structure at your club. There were calls not so long ago for Levy to 'just pay the money' to a few players who we were linked to or contract extensions which would have broken our wage structure and those that opposed it were rightly warned that other players who felt were being under paid would be banging on the chairman's door if they knew the club had money to spend.

These instances are the perfect examples of how not to run a football club and if Levy caved in and started to pay high salaries to those who didn't deserve it you'd be seeing something similar now, it would have been chaos.

Wait, United's player of the season was...Luke Shaw??

Did everyone know he was having a good season? No disrespect to the guy, but I was blissfully unaware of his existence all season.
He was one of few who played alright before Mourinho left, despite the way Mou called him out in the media for his weight and application, so I guess you can say he was their most consistent player all season. Not that that says much.

Some fans on redcafe want him sacked now lol. They made a huge error giving him the job when they did. IMO he is not up to such a a big job.

Would he? I've never been impressed whenever I've watched him and I think he'd get more yellow's and red cards with any other team

He's a good player, on a free a no brainer , will prob want astronomical wages though. He's prob the smartest of the lot too getting out of United and going somewhere else.

In shock at how quick it moved!

Last Friday arsenal were in pole position for him but then out of nowhere in like 42 hours united have signed him!
Ugggghhhh. 15m is an absolute snip for the next Gareth Bale (imo). We should’ve been all over that.

It was a bizarre move by Utd to give Ole a contract when they did.

He was doing well, was never going to take any job other than the Utd one if/when offered it and he was doing exactly what they needed which was steadying the ship and hauling them up the table.

Why on earth did they not just wait until the summer? If the board still believed OGS was the man for them they could have given him the job then. But knowing what they know now, it is possible they could have explored other options depending on who may be available in the summer.

These are the players who finished 2nd a couple of years back and are by no means rubbish.

Must be to do with recurring new players and planning for next season

Can't fault Solskjaer. The whole team has had a dreadful season tbh and watching Pogba getting booed off shows just that.
