That's not true at all. In the season under Bielsa, he scored 7 assisted 21. The season before, he scored 8 assisted 6. Under Bielsa, he got his most assists in any season so far with the next highest being 18, followed by 12.
League apps and goals
13-14 season: 36/8
14-15 season: 36/7

Those are the only stats I have for him.

Ah, I didn't check there. If anything, it looks like his first season at Marseille was the slump compared to Lille and 2nd at Marseille then West Ham.

Even this year, not bad despite a lack of goals. They have bought terribly and it's no surprise he wants to go. I read yesterday his family doesn't like London and they didn't really want to leave France but Marseille were in need of the money at that time and the WH contract was huge (even though he had just signed a new one at Marseille). They were taken over in the summer, so now they have some cash to spend..

I wouldn't want payet here. We have a young hungry squad i don't want someone who might cause disruption. Poch did a hell of a job clearing the decks in his first season, no point back tracking now.

Half price Payet shirts? That's still a rip off considering he'll probably never play for them again.

They're almost into 'I wouldn't wash my car with that' territory.

David Gold looks like the last surviving member of an obscure 70's prog rock band, that look is really creepy, but the pair of them together are basically the Duke brothers.

One pound bet from Sullivan , that Gold couldn't get given a free stadium AND get relegated in the same season.

On the possibility of Chelsea ground sharing with WHU after being granted planning permission to increase Stamford Bridge

I thought CFC were going to use Wembley same time as us ?

I think there was a risk of cross-over if we needed to be at Wembley for a second season. As Chelsea apparently need 3 seasons at another venue I think that makes Wembley more difficult for them because of the cost and the proximity of Wembley to two other EPL stadiums (us and Arsenal).

Twickenham has never been keen on allowing football to be played there, so Chelsea's best option may indeed be sharing with West Ham - although sour-knickers has always claimed West Ham would object to such an arrangement.

Felt sorry for Billic yesterday watching the presser- a decent guy who has been badly let down.

Bilic as a player wanted to leave West Ham after 6 months to join us didn't he? Eventually leaving after one season at West Ham to join a bigger club in Everton.

He does come across well most of the time but lets not forget what he is really like

That earing too...:ROFLMAO:

Yep, great post.

Whats to say Poch didn't speak with Biesla when Payet was available and decided against him? Biesla knows Poch better than anyone and could have told him to steer clear maybe?

Decent guy yes (Blanc-baiting aside) but I don't think he's a very good manager.

I suspect he's been sold a pack of lies by the porno brothers, but he's still made some very odd decisions. Antonio was scoring boat loads of goals for them, so he then tried to turn him into a full-back?

But I agree I don't think he deserves to be caught up in West Ham's current shit-storm. If a foreign owner was doing what Gold and Sullivan are doing then they'd be all over the back-pages.
