I really wish a team would unleash a few shots at him when he stands there looking a them warm up. Make sure there’s enough that he can’t dodge it, and make sure that they are hard enough to knock his hat off.
You joke but I honestly think half of it is him trying to intimidate the other team and my solution would be to boot a ball at him or have him clambering around after the ball to make him suddenly look silly and I reckon that'd have a little boost psychology wise. Nothing makes a strong figure look more silly than chasing a ball about awkwardly

Probably even just a couple of players walking over to him menacingly or to have a chat would probably have an effect and defuse whatever psychological ploy he's trying to do.

“We just wanted to guarantee that everyone who wants to be here knows what he can expect”

Imagine that. :cautious:

A player should pretend to drive the ball at him from close distance to get this reaction.....

Liverpool have been phenomenal this season. Just being at this point with the opportunity for the quadruple is an outstanding achievement

As much as I dislike it, have to give them credit.

I would so love us to beat them and derail their dreams, but a game up at Anfield, Pool in the form they are in, with their fans and the officials not wanting to ruin the dream, sadly I can't see us getting anything up there.

This is where having a world class manager can make all the difference, can we handle the pressure? It's a fantastic opportunity to put down a marker for next season.

I'd be a bit more confident if we had better wing backs mind as then I'd feel more confident in us making more of the few opportunities we may get.

Or with better wing backs, making more opportunities in the first place! :)

Was weirdly thinking today it really wasn’t a huge amount that took them from being below us for nearly a decade to winning the league and CL. Yes they’ve built on it since. But basically was Alison Fabinho Vvd Salah as major signings then Robertson for peanuts and Trent academy. So basically just over £200m for 5 players and obviously a world class manager. We have the manager, shows how quickly things could possibly change if we can add to the obvious quality we have.
I remember saying ...... that club smells of ambition..... when they signed VVD that December.... people on here laughed at the "inflated" price..... so many hung onto that well thet haven't finished above us in 7 seasons etc.... it doesn't matter what they do. aaaah the Tosser Shady even called me a wum. ...lol.

Anyway what I've liked about what Fenway/ Klopp and whoever the Director of Football has done.... is they built a proper squad... not just a starting 11. They had their dominant front 3 and still bought Jota...then this season still go and add Diaz.

It takes time to build such a dominant side but it can be done...... in my lifetime I'd like to see us emulate what Liverpool have done over the last 6 odd years.

His comments about our defensive play were a disgrace. Have some class you fucking ****.

He complained about us enjoying only 38% of possession yet (as Ally Gold rightly stated in his latest podcast) he said nothing about Liverpool enjoying only 38% of the possession in the 2019 Champions League final.

I never imagined I'd ever back Man City to win anything, but these last few weeks I will (and I'll become a Real fan in the CL final on the 28th too).

It's great that AG is pointing this out but why doesn't he mention to that to Klopp? He is the one that can make him look a fool

In fairness to Klopp he is scaling back his post-game comments in his press conference today. Much less disparaging about us now that he's cooled down a bit...

From the BBC:
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is chuckling as he's asked about Pep Guardiola's view that the entire country wants Liverpool to win the Premier League.

Klopp says: "I live in Liverpool. Here a lot of people want us to win the league that's for sure. But even here it's probably only 50%.

"As a manager I had this experience recently, we are obviously influenced by he game the situation. I have said things, would I say it again? No. I said Tottenham play how they play but are still only fifth. It felt good at the moment but it is probably wrong."

Some of you may have seen Jurgen Klopp telling journalists the mood was like a funeral in the press room after Liverpool's 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday. He's clarified his comments.

"Having another game is cool but it's not that we have to overcome something," he says.

"When I said about it being a funeral, I meant the press conference, not the players. A draw was a normal result, especially against Spurs. We played a good game against a well organised team."

Hmm. Not much of an apology even though he's plenty of time to calm down. As I said previously, Conte's comments regarding Liverpool were highly complimentary and rightly so, as they are demonstrably, one of the best sides in the world.

What he (Klopp) has done is issue a highly begrudging 'apology' through gritted teeth, and therefore, he's still a **** in my own view.

Not easy squeezing an apology through those massive gnashers
