Odd timing, but given how bad they've been in the league, I'm not surprised. I will laugh like fuck if they put someone like Mancini in charge though.

They are crying out for someone like Redknapp or Pullis. Someone with the experience of getting a club out of trouble.

They'll never get a manager of his calibre again. What a stupid thing to do.

Sky Sources are saying 'senior' Leicester players told the owners they weren't happy with Ranieri after the Seville game.

Yes, I know pinch of salt and all that but if this is true then what a bunch of snidey rat****s.

PS: It's almost certainly true, I mean, Vardy.......look at him. If you had to pick a snidey rat**** out of the pack he'd be top of the list. And Mahrez. Blame everyone but yourself and when you've run out of excuses, blame the manager. ****s to a man, i'd be seriously cheesed if we signed any of them when they jump ship.
I'd take Gray. But I agree Mahrez et al can fuck right off.

I don't think he's any better than Vorm. Apparently he was one of the players that went whinging to the board as well...

His dad was a cock. Wouldn't surprise me.

Good to see Carragher call out the btec beckhams in his column.

Gray looks a prospect but every time I see him he's also so damn greedy.

Mahrez has been so shameful, doesn't look bothered at all.

I can't help feeling Nigel Pearson had more to do with Leicester's title win than has been acknowledged. Something clicked with his team in those final 9 games at the end of season before last, and continued right on through to the following title winning season. I don't mean to denigrate Ranieri, who I like as a person, but in many ways his job was not to fuck up what was already there. Essentially, Pearson's set-up.

I'll honestly never, as long as I live understand what happened in those 40-something games.

Something definitely 'clicked' but I wouldn't put it down to Pearson.

Sunderland end the season on title winning form every season and revert back to shite for the next 10 months.

1st half of 15/16 they played a 'you score two we'll score three' approach. Mahrez and Vardy struck a rich vein of form, opponents took them lightly and the club raced away with points.

Not unusual for lower clubs to start off like a train - see Southampton a few years ago, Bolton and Wolves. Go back a decade and Moyes had Everton 2nd at Christmas iirc.

Usually the table sorts itself out but the usual big clubs flagged. Leicester slowed down in goalscoring and became a 1-0 side - their defensive solidity was non existent under Pearson.

Perhaps the crucial link was simply Kante. He came, won the league, left and is likely goint to win the league again.

I cannot understand the outpouring of grief over Ranieri's dismissal. The game has not suddenly changed. I don't have time for all this pseudo-romanticism. Leicester (and I fucking hate them) are in deep, deep shit, and they felt they had to make a change. Player power is a big feature of the modern game. You have to suck it up. You can't sack the players.

They aren't in trouble really as the reason they are in "crisis", is because the manager did too well and now they are back to where they belong

They are in shit but it's the same exact situation they have always been in previously and where they would have expected to be if last year hadn't happened.
People are sad because he won them the league title that they never thought they'd do and their shit players have got him sacked because of their delusional ego's
