I hate myself for saying this but I think they might repeat this season. Its extremely difficult to do so but the other clubs have too many issues. City's close but they have no spine. United is a cluster fuck. Arsenal or Liverpool? Lol. We'd have a great chance if we were still in the Lane but at Wembley? No.

What do a Chelsea supporter and a bottle of beer have in common? They are both empty from the neck up. lol

Many thanks to Spurrific for pointing out my blunder in the first edition ~ now corrected to make sense.

They have European football to contend with this season.

This is what what Kennedy posted.

The first video was captioned "F***ing China" before a second clip of a sleeping security guard was posted with the caption: "Wake up China. You idiot."

Chelsea then apologise and issue a statement that racism is not acceptable at the club.
I thought it was compulsory,

Let's be honest, Kenedy has been a bit stupid and naive not racist, he's not done a Lavezzi. The reason for the Chelsea reaction is money driven.

i agree, its not racism at all. media and social networks too quick to jump on the political correctness bus, and maybe the odd fan, especially the ones who havnt got the vocab to tell a joke properly haha!!!

Batshuayi Doing v well pre season ( also did well at the end of last season in the limited games he played) but will play second fiddle to Morata. He should move on.

he is playing very well, would be a shame for him to not progress in a lead striker role. I doubt chelsea would loan him out though as they would be completely reliant on morata then, and he hasnt been premier league tested yet, he may struggle with the physicality

I really wouldn't be surprised to see Batshuayi get in ahead of Morata at some point this season or, at worst, next. Kid's got talent.

No way, last year no European football, hardly an injury, also I think costa will be a big loss.

I remember reading this article on Morata and thought that he's mentally weak. Probably why he's never been a first choice striker at a club. I've always said it's a big risk signing him because of this.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/apr/12/alvaro-morata-real-madrid-bayern-munich

Buffon always thought he could, claiming Morata had everything to be among the world’s best “if only he could get over his mental hang-ups”. Morata describes the 39-year-old goalkeeper, who recently played his 1,000th game, as like a father, the gratitude palpable, and insists Buffon sought to protect and toughen him. He also believes this was not about enemies within, but opponents detecting weakness on the pitch, admitting: “They could see my head go down in games.” Yet hearing the conversation recalled, it’s difficult not to be drawn to it. And if Morata moved beyond those dark days, some of the issues remain.
