Does anyone reckon there’s a chance they get Conte back? Or is he not Wily Boly’s type of appointment?

Chelsea are 11th, basically last spot before the relegation candidates, 11 points behind us. Yet not a single article about them being in a crisis.

I’m guessing their sustained success over the last 2 decades rightly gets them some leeway. That and the fact they’ve still got an ownership clearly trying to get success on the pitch by packing the squad with the worlds brightest talent. Everyone knows they’ll come good, no one thinks that about levy and spurs.

As I understand it in two years time clubs have got to restrict their spending within 70% on revenue, unless Chelsea have a fire sale and drastically slim down their squad I can't see they'll find that very easy. Moreover their latest practice of bringing in players on really long contracts isn't likely to help them as that's going to show for a lot of years and they may be maxed out on their line of credit.
That's another reason it's good to see them in the bottom half of the table and falling 😊

Easy to do that with a criminal as owner that is forced to write off a 1bn loan. As for what the actual ownership is doing - that remains to be seen but a year outside champions league might be a problem for them, with long player contracts and a small old stadium.

Atleast we've already sort of accepted Nagelsmann is going there. Rather than hanging on until the summer and then being disappointed

The same Nagelsmann who needs CL and a CEO he can work with to come to us.
