@Bobbins You've disagreed with this and then within 10 minutes their main kit sponsor is reportedly doing just that.
It's a textbook defence mechanism, very common amongst football fans.
Predict the worst, then if it doesn't happen its a bonus... If the worst does happen then you get to play the beautiful 'I told you so' card.

No it isn’t.

this could impact their form, the travel arrangements for matches alone are gonna impact morale. Unfortunately we’ve already been gupped 4 times this season by them, Arsenal, Utd, West Ham and Wolves still have them to play so do they now have an easier game on paper?
Far too early to determine how this might effect the players' morale in the immediate future. It might actually galvanise them. Us against the world etc....

Long term, though, it's hard to see how this can end well for them. At least, it's hard to see how they could end up in a better position than they were with Abramovich.

Lets hope we now see a real and effective Fit and Proper test so there are no more Chelsea, Man City, Barcodes, takeovers.

I don’t see how they keep going for very long, their wages are what 70-80% of their turnover? They’re losing match day revenue, and possibly sponsors.

Unless there’s a quick sale, they’ll be administration within a couple of months.

Honestly, you guys are really reaching on this one. Chelsea will be absolutely fine, a new buyer will be found quickly, and they’ll continue buying trophies for years to come, just with new dodgy owners.
Maybe. The sanctions imposed will cripple them if not only a buyer but an agreement with Roman isn’t found quickly. No merch, ticket or sugar daddy money for 3 months is brutal for a club that operates at a massive loss as is.

I can legitimately see Levy having a stealthy call with someone to see how much they want & what the land is worth. :ROFLMAO:

They'll fall on their feet, they always do.

Main thing we can hope for is that the new owners aren't a City/Newcastle type and more a Villa/Everton type.
I'd argue getting Everton type owner is not even remotely "falling on their feet".

Is it a possibility that chelsea could next season be taken out of the premiere league because of all of this?
Because they wouldn’t be able to do everything we’ve already heard about so surly not allowing away fans into
Stadiums etc.
