Chelsea have always got into these shit situations and they always end up winning, it's what they do.

Chelsea could have a mini French Revolution with Sarri getting the literal guillotine and still somehow ended up with a trophy. Such a weird club.

You'd have to be a fucking moron to want a highly qualified coach like Sarri out to get Lampard in.

Derby have been bloody awful every time i've seen them, constantly bailed out by the quality attacking midfield players they have. Watching Derby play Bielsa's Leeds it was clear who the better coach was despite the result.

I think that if Juventus approach for Sarri he'll jump at it, any excuse to get out of the unappreciative shitshow that Chelsea is. But after the EL win I don't think he'll be sacked.

Spot on.

Admittedly I haven't seen too much of Derby but by all accounts Lampard has done an OK job but nothing spectacular. Before the season started they were predicted to finish in the playoffs, so the fact that he's grabbed the last playoff spot on the final day of the season is arguably a par finish at best. It seems like an unwarranted amount of hype surrounding him based on a crazy 45 minutes against Leeds. And as you touch on, his Chelsea connection has meant they've been able to get their hands on some over-qualified playing talent as well.

On the other hand Sarri has massively overachieved with Chelsea despite pretty much everyone involved with the club and the fans doing their best to undermine him at every opportunity.

Absolutely, with the good coaches you can see their approach and philosophy play out onto the pitch. The football under Lampard looks reminiscent of the chaotic lottery stuff of Sherwood. Games won by moments of individual brilliance rather than cohesive play. For our sake, I hope he becomes Chelsea manager but I think it would be allegri.

Sarri won't be there next season then. I so hope they go for Frank over Allegri.
If Hazard leaves, transfer ban and Loftus Cheek out for months it wont matter who is in charge. They're gonna struggle.
Arsenal have too many problems to list. And Man U? Well lol.
Top 3 next season looking pretty good.
Obviously if Eriksen and Toby go it'll make it a bit more difficult if we dont bring in like for like quality.
After last night I hope interest in Eriksen cooled a little but doubt it.

Personally, I'd be surprised if Allegri went there, with or without a transfer ban.

But perhaps it's an ambition for him to manage in the PL, so this is his chance.

But if he cools his heels for 12 months (or less) he could probably end up with the Real, Barca or Man Utd job!!

Its a big risk and imo why Sarri wants out. Struggle with the transfer ban, know your best player is off, fail to get top 4 which with Man City, Liverpool, Us and the Arse and Man U is not going to be an easy task you find yourself sacked by xmas.
Not very appealing at the moment is it.

He’d be a mug to go there. The Man Utd job will be up for grabs in October/November. He might as well wait for that.

If Sarri just go does that mean Jorginho will follow his daddy to Juventus?

I’d be pissed if I was Jorginho otherwise given he joined Chelsea due to Sarri.

Regardless Chelsea are such an odd club in that they still carry on winning things no matter how fucked up their management situation gets.

Gonna miss Sarri. Love it when I hear the fans chant "you don't know what you are doing".

He never won the fans over. But I would want to see him stick around, cause I don't think his style suits the team and the league.

They appealed to the CAS about their transfer ban today.

CAS say it is not possible to say when a decision will be reached.

Hopefully the ban will stand. Losing Hazard and not being able to buy more players will be good for the rest of the league and potentially their vast Loan Squad.

Does the appeal allow the ban to be rescinded until a decision is reached? Or is the ban still in place?
