We all thought the Citeh result was rather disappointing, but to cheer you all up, I have picked an ex-Spurs X1 made up off ex players who either played or were subs for thier new premiership clubs last weekend.

When you look at this shite, I think we all realise where we could be if they were still around with the exception of Defoe and Carrick who I have named as subs.

1. Kasey Keller - Fulham
2. Steve Kelly - Brum
3. Erik Edman - Wigan
4. Paul Stalteri - Fulham
5. Luke Young - Boro
6, Simon Davies - Fulham
7. Pedro Mendes - Pompey
8. Michael Brown - Wigan
9. Mido - Boro
10. Bobby Zamora - West Ham
11. Danny Murphy - Fulham

Subs

Ian Walker - Bolton
Paul Konchesky - Fulham
Jermain Defoe - Pompey
Michael Carrick - Man Ure

Nothing wrong with Digger. Great cross for McBride this weekend-gone too.

Mendes was good too.

I think 'crap' is a tad harsh - seeing as how 3 years ago, we'd ache for a team with them in!

Who have done the best business?

Fulham with Keller, Salty, Davies, Murphy & Konchesky.

Or Pompey, with Pamarot, Davis, Mendes, Defoe & Campbell....

Still think we should have kept Mendez. He is better than lot we have in midfield now, and yes that includes Jenas!

Pompey without a doubt, but Defoe cost three times as much as all the four at Fulham, albeit Salty is on loan
