I don't know why I'm bothering to respond as I'm fully over the Walker thing now.
Trippier isn't anywhere near as good as him, hence Walker starting much more games than him. "How can Trippier create... blah blah" he wasn't playing because he isn't as good.
They are defenders predominantly and Trippier's one significant strength is that he can cross. He is obviously going to be more productive than Walker, as Walker is mostly inept when attacking.
Respectfully, not one thing you have posted in this thread/exchange has had any point.

Are deals like that commonplace?
It feels very odd for Spurs to have a financial incentive for City to win things. Suppose we had secured 3rd with 37 games and our last game was against City, who were fighting for the title. The other club in contention would have every reason to get shirty if we lost.
We wanted him out because he wanted to go and he wanted to go because city tapped him up. So who has won City or us?
Tick, Just as Chelsea weren't a selling club when they sold Mata to Manchester United.Best RB in the PL .....Tick, sold to our opposition.....Tick, Spurs not a selling club.......................
Kyle Walker @kylewalker2·2m
Honoured to announce I have signed for @ManCity. Had an amazing time at @spursofficial but can't wait to start this new chapter with #MCFC!
Lol Honoured? Yeah such a prestigious club that he slagged off afew years back now he's honoured?

You are right, I'm payed by Levy to go on here and post that Walker is dogshite. Every time I use "dogshite" I receive 1 penny now and 1/10 of a penny over the next 50 years. Every time I write "Trippier will become better anyway", I earn a performance bonus of 1 penny per rating (good, bad or otherwise), paid out in equal instalments over 1000 years.I suspect that all this negativity concerning Walker may have been created by the PR team at Spurs. Why? To make it more palatable that the Club is selling one of the best right backs in the world to a direct rival.

“I am thrilled to be signing for City and can’t wait to get started,” Walker said.
“Pep Guardiola is one of the most respected managers in the world and I feel he can help me take my game to a new level.”
Txiki Begiristain, the Club’s Director of Football, added: “Kyle is a fine full-back, one capable of producing quality at both ends of the pitch.
“We’ve followed his progress at Tottenham and have been really impressed by how he has developed. He is now one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and justifiably an England regular.
“I am sure he will be a success at Manchester City this season and beyond.”
