Agreed, and when you look at his highlight reels, you see a willingness to press high up. Think that suggests he’d be a decent fit also. If the fee is fair, I wouldn’t be against taking a punt on him, having him in tandem with Gil as direct runners would be a decent option. But if the fee is too high I’d leave alone.

I love the idea of signing a couple of direct, technically decent wide forwards. Let’s completely re-write the blueprint of the late Kane era and get us playing quick, direct, progressive football with a decent, bastard number 9 who doesn’t need to drop back and double as a number 10/ CAM because he’s got three central midfielders behind him ( a CDM, box to box and AM) and a couple of mad, quick, fearless bastards either side of him. If we are targeting tricky winger types (in addition to Bryan) I really hope we sign someone who can take a decent set piece. Obviously be handy if we still have a striker or two to convert chances created as well.
