His positioning, timing, movement, pace and finishing are all excellent. I'd be very excited if this came off.

Only thing, as someone else said, is that this story originates in the Sun...

If we were to match lesters bid, surely he'd push for a move to us rather than these cheating thugs

Also, one of th reasons we were so good last year was using dier to contactless switch formations in game. I'd like to see us also do that with strikers - basically Kane swapping between dropping into AM and playing alongside a quick striker. We'd be even more of a nightmare to play against if we could get it right

Been waiting for this link all summer. He's perfect for us, offers something different and he has the best goals per minute ratio in premier league history. Would get plenty of games for us as could play with Kane. Only 20 as well. Would be a cracking signing

Whilst these player exchanges and cash deals rarely come off we should look positively on this one. Levy should ascertain very quickly whether or not Poch wants Ihenacho and can find a real use for him, if the answer is a big yes, then as far as I see it we hold the aces in such a deal. If Poch thinks he is only a makeweight/lightweight who would only ever make the fringes of the team playing the odd game or a few minutes here and there like Njie did then it's a different matter

Walker is on a long term deal and we don't have to let him go unless it's on our terms. If Poch's view is the former as opposed to the latter then we should call the shots by insisting that the Walker deal doesn't happen until Ihenacho comes the other way, and as we know they have more money than sense that it's their problem to solve, and if that means subsidising Ihenacho's wages for 3 seasons pluses a hefty bit of cash on top then that's what needs to happen.

Was under the impression he was a dead cert to Leicester.

Know a couple of City fans who don't think much of his all round game and think he's lucked out quite a bit to get the ridiculous strike rate he has...

You could aim the same at Lukaku even now though to be honest.

Am I the only one that thinks he a poor version of D Sturridge?. Who himself is incredibly over rated.

He fits the bill for a quick/attacking/dribbling player that poch wanted last summer. I would absolutely take him.

Can't say I've seen enough of him, but personally I don't think Sturridge is overrated at all. A genuine match winner, just can't stay fit.

Anyway, back to Iheanacho. Man City fan at work was raving about him a couple of seasons ago, but he talks a load of bollocks so I don't know what to think.

He seems like he has something in the brief glimpses I've seen, but I think everyone is going a bit ott with the excitement levels of this potential signing.

Great player and if it means pissing Leicester off then it's a yes from me.

This kid is a top player in the making within three years. Even if he falls short of the very highest level he is a very good investment, a very attractive proposition.

I want him, would mean we didn't have to go after King.

He'd get plenty of minutes here as he'd be 2nd ST unless Janssen improves massively.

He's definitely still in the "prospect" category. I think the transfer business is as much about opportunism as any thing. The set of circumstances. Walker wanting city and city having stupid money and loads of top class attackers already mean we could possibly do a deal.

Would be gutted if he went to Leicester. Him and Kane together could be lethal if we ever went two up top.

I like Janssen a lot, but if we had to sacrifice him to bring Iheanacho in, I'd stomach it.
