It sounds like they have a huge valuation on Kounde's head. If they want Sanchez we can likewise put a big valuation on Sanchez. If there's a chance we can get Kounde then we can be a bit more negotiable on the cash we give Sevilla on top of a Sanchez swap, but if they're not selling us Kounde then they can pay our full valuation for Sanchez or creating a bidding war for him from other interested clubs.
I think that's where we've been for a while, if the player becomes convinced and decides he will come to us I am sure the deal between the clubs is pretty much sorted.

I wonder what kind of deadline Paratici has set on this deal happening or not.

I’d like Romero’s partner to be an experienced leader. Someone who can organise us.

Unforunately not sure many of those are out on the market.

Teams also really only like buying younger type CBs. I did some research on it a while back when Tobys clause was in play and figuring out why no one was going for it. All the top teams pretty much exclusively buy young CBs.

Would Boateng be a decent experienced signing to bridge the gap for Tanganga and Rodon to develop?

Literally know nothing about this guy, doesn't sound like hes too interested so prefer to look elsewhere hopefully dont hang about too long waiting on his deciding anyway, reckon we'll still deal with Sevilla for Sanchez though sounds as though they really want him.

Lets convince him to sign by telling him Daniel will offer him a gentlemans agreement that he can leave next summer to Madrid if they offer over 100m ?

I'm struggling to see this happening:
  • The player doesn't seem like he wants to come.
  • It's a huge amount of money and we are already splashing a lot on a defender in Romero.
  • Romero seems like a Toby replacement.
  • We seem to already have tomiyasu lined up.
  • We've got rid of Foyth but we don't need to replace him as he didn't play, but to sign a further CB we probably have to offload both Sanchez and Aurier.
That said, I'd love it to happen :)

For me it's a question of whether he prefers to stay at Sevilla or come to us if no CL club are able to agree a deal with Sevilla.

Why would he leave Sevilla for us though? On pure footballing reasons
Maybe he is looking for a new challenge. I'm pretty sure there was info that said he is waiting out for a CL club but he didn't completely close the door on us. Personally don't think we'll get him but one can dream. :)
