Looks like Chelsea will wrap this up in hours.

Meanwhile we bid 15 mill for Milenkovic because we won't pay up for Romero.

So did we but the player didn't want to come to us, if he did he'd have been here last week and we didn't bid 15 mol for Milenkovic.
You are on the wind up aren't you.

Mate, come on....this shit is boring now. You have no idea what we will or won't pay for Romero or what Atalanta will or won't accept. We know that Paratici has multiple targets. We know that Romero is the one that he really wants. We know that he will pay over and above for that special player. We know that he uses the media to his own ends. ITK is confident. That'll do me for now.

We get it. Spurs fans have been burned before. Many of you are nervous. Or even resigned to disappointment. But the rest of us really don't need to be told this in myriad ways over and over.

This relentless negative energy does no one any good.

Cant say I'm gutted about Kounde due to his reluctance to join us. Would be absolutely furious/gutted if Romero doesnt go through.

Isn't this the guy everyone was worried about being too small for the EPL? Now he's going to Chelsea it is like the end of the world in here. Cheer up, move on to the next target.

I think the club had moved on already to be honest, if they'd come back to us we'd have been interested but we weren't giving it a high priority.
I don't think he'll be one of the best for chelsea either.

Last I counted, chelsea have 8/9 players capable of playing CB, not including youth players...greedy bastards

Spoke with my Chelsea mate, Zouma will be sold if someone pays up, Rudiger and Christensen both have a year left so will either be sold or new contracts but Rudiger wants big money.

Wouldn't surprise me if they had a similar deal in mind by offering Zouma + cash for Kounde.

I still maintained he's a prick on him stalling for a move to RM over the 'lesser-achieved' clubs like us and now indeed he has chosen the prickest clubs of all. I guess that fits him perfectly.

For those who said that is a character of someone having big ambitious and looking to prove himself at the highest level at every opportunity, there are millions of ways to do and show that while at the same time exhibiting humility and being appreciative. To me, by beating his drums so hard issuing all those get-me-pleas in public when a club like us showed much interest early on was definitely not one of the ways.

I am glad he is going to chelscum. See him there next season for a good clash. Sorry but I just don't like him. So is really my personal opinions of judging him.

If he does go there hopefully they will use the money to buy Sanchez from us so we can then close the Romero deal
Doesn't really matter, the only reason it would matter is if they sold us kounde and if they don't then dwe will sell him elsewhere.

Can’t really fault him. He played all season to seal qualification to the CL, and he wants to play in it.

there’s plenty more players out there just as good.

Probably had us do the dirty work of figuring out the exact cost Sevilla would agree too then ran to CL clubs to find a buyer.

I suspect so. To be honest, I think we were originally told that he'd rejected us because of no CL but there was an outside chance we might still be able to get him if no one else did. So it's not really all that much of a surprise on this occasion. Was always more a hope than an expectation with this one.

Can’t say I blame him for going to Chelsea tbh. After all they are European Champions. We couldn't even qualify for the Europa League. It’s no contest. No point beating up ourselves or Paratici or Levy or anyone up about this one.

Will be very easy to hate him now won't it. Hope he's a complete flop. I hate Chelsea with a passion, and it kills me that they are a far more attractive club than us. Abramovich coming along completely fucked the other London clubs to be honest. Man City of the south.

Lets take of the Spurs tinted glasses.

At no point did he accept our offer. Quite the opposite.

It was us and Seville pushing the deal. He doesn't owe us anything, he wants CL.

Spurs, like any buying club, will keep other players more keen to join us hanging on as they are down our list.

So it works both ways.
