Strange that they won't comment on it, people will only jump to conclusions  I'm sure they'll make something up in the next few days.

Where did you here that it was a scrap with Terry? It just says he collided with another player in that report.

Did you see Grants press conference that was just on SSN?

He said he was involved in a "tackle" with another player. When asked "who?" he said "does it matter? these things happen in training."

The flash bulbs were going off like mental - more than usual. I expect good back pages in the morning.

Watching Grant on SSN you can see where these rumours start. It was a 'training ground tackle' with a player who he was reluctant to name. I think the reporter knew something though as he tried to push him on it.

The Daily Mail claims it was an accident involving Ben Haim:

"Petr Cech is out of Chelsea's Champions League return against Fenerbahce tomorrow night and is expected to be sidlelined for two weeks after an accident in training left him needing surgery on his face.
"The freak injury occurred yesterday when a team-mate, who Sportsmail online can reveal as defender Tal Ben Haim, struck the Czech international in the face with his studs.
"Cech suffered lacerations to his lip and chin and was taken to hospital for an operation, but it means he will definitely be missing at Stamford Bridge."

I hate John Terry so much, and he just keeps giving me reasons to hate him more and more each week.

Given Cech underwent immediate facial surgery, I suspect the bigger issue is his confidence when he starts playing again. He's a multimillionaire and new dad, and he (and his wife) may just think: "Getting kicked in the head on a regular basis is not a great way of making a living".

I'm sure our resident SC goalkeepers will have a view on this and the concept of goalkeeper "bottle" (even allowing for the fact that being mad is considered essential for a GK).

PS if Cech does lose his confidence in diving at opponent's feet, Cudicini will presumably stay @ Chavski and all that ITK about how he'll be joining us in the summer will be history...

Keep the good news rolling. Now lets have Terry have a 'bust up' (or as they're better know as a 'Training ground accident') with Essien so we can sign him.

Terry is an absolute scum bag, mind you... most of the chelski players fall into that category.
