For being incredible in training to not play in a game like yesterday seems weird. Sanchez is still a head of him.

I think he will become a solid player for the club but not a chance in hell was he a Jose signing.

Why isn't he playing then? He was soo soo good in training apparently. Still Davies and Sanchez is ahead.

Because he wasn't a Jose signing? Jose loves Davies; however, the Sanchez one is weird.

The only conclusion I can draw is that the Chelsea performance has led Jose to conclude he’s not ready. I find that strange though considering Sanchez has made worse errors in less pressured games and is still being picked ahead of him.

He's 23. Can't be that long-term.
So 23 is old now is it
Centre backs generally need more time to develop their game. Just look at Dier as an example, played defensive midfield at the same age and only this season moved back into defence.

Dier is shit though.

Fofana is dominating games at a younger age.

Jose clearly wanted more athleticism in his defence to match up with Wolves dynamic forwards so he went for Davinson. Rodon was trusted against Chelsea and has been trusted to come on and close out certain games as well. If he was eligible he’d have played all the Europa games and most likely the Stoke game as well. Not sure why people are stressed. He’ll get his games. No doubt about it.

Yes, as everyone knows all CBs retire at 25
He can't get minutes for a struggling side with bad centre backs at 23. That does not bode well.

Its not like dias and fofana have been "long term signings", even though they're younger and have the same amount of pl experience.

This is a stambouli njie style signing all over again.

The struggling side that were being widely tipped as title contenders a few weeks ago?
