Jermaine Jenas feels that Harry Kane could do more for Tottenham in big games and big moments to keep Antonio Conte’s tenure on track.

The England captain has established himself as one of Europe’s top strikers with his Spurs form in recent seasons. His record of 255 goals in 396 club appearances tells its own story

As with previous seasons, he's got off to a slow start although he has bagged a few goals. Him and Sonny misfiring has been quite a problem for us, but at least we have some squad depth now.

Not really helping if Kane plays every game though

Can’t disagree with Jenas, and have thought the same for ages. Kane should be a beast to play against with his height and strength, but he doesn’t bully defenders and lead the line like someone such as Drogba used to and the likes of Benzema and Lewandowski do now. If you watch him now he doesn’t have the aggression of 3-4 years ago and is happier playing long passes from deep, which he does too often. The Man City game last season was one of his best games in a long time, but should be happening on a regular basis.

He is our Ronaldo these days, great at tap ins but doesnt do enough to help the team on a consistent basis which means the numbers for other players is down. As soon as Ronaldo was dropped, goals and assists increased for everyone else.

It also doesnt help Spurs play a counter attacking game generally, which has been the case for past 3 years. Kane would be better off playing for a team that plays majority of the game in the opposition half than his own half.
