Villa ITK Twitter updates

Hi all, I'm sure some/most people here are aware of the ITK twitter account @avfctransfers1 who is believed to be a member of staff involved with performing/organising medicals. There have been a few updates today so I just thought I'd make a thread containing everything.
There were 2 medical slots booked for this afternoon. One of these was Nyland who completed his medical and should be announced soon. The other medical has been moved to tomorrow morning and there is no name on it yet. Tuanzebe did not need to partake in a medical. There is some suggestion (not from the ITK) that it could be Joe Bryan. I'll update this tomorrow once we know more details. Interestingly, there are two more medical slots booked on Wednesday, so there should be at least 3 more in by the end of the week.
The rumours that I've seen so far are: Joe Bryan for £6m, Tammy Abraham on loan and Snodgrass on loan - though if Tuanzebe didn't require a medical I presume Snodgrass also wouldn't so not sure on this. Nyland should be announced soon.

This is dressed up like ITK from one poster on VillaTalk:

I’m told no official offer from Levy yet, they will bid officially on deadline day as he still thinks FFP could force our hand.
Shot himself in the foot though because our owners have told Jacks agent “we don’t need to sell anymore.”
It will come down to the offer (if it’s too good to turn down) and Jacks wishes as he’s agreed personal terms in principle with Spurs. This summer was the window for contract renegotiation but because of the situation we have not offered a deal yet so Jacks agent has shopped around as he’s supposed to do really. It’s our mess really.
However new owners have said they will offer a new contract after the window and would like to keep him.
We value around 35m they Value around 20m Friday will see if Levy is prepared to rise, if he does it I expect Jack to go.
Jacks been told by Southgate he needs PL football, signing on fee & contract offering to Jack has been sold as “you n your folks are made for life” and footballers have a short career they’re mindful that injury can ruin it all in an instant. Jack no doubt will have grown with kids that have had career ending injuries it’s too much to turn down.
In Jacks shoes you’ve got a 5 year deal of at least double your money and CL football plus he’s had assurances from Pochettino he will play plus England are keen on him moving to the PL.
or you have owners who’ve been there a week are saying they will offer a new deal in a few weeks time but all know the manager is on borrowed time. But you are a fan of the club.
What would you do?
Personally I’ll be gutted if he goes.

I can understand why Poch could be really keen on him and I’m actually really excited about this potential signing. The lads got that Gaza esque combo of flair and fire in his belly imo. But that could just be the curry.

I think your suspicions that this isn’t actual ITK would be right. Any of us could have written this (did one of you mad lads do it?!).

The telling thing for me is that the owners will apparently offer him a contract after the window...why wait if they want to keep him? Make him your best offer now!

Smells like a load of nonsense from someone piecing bits together.

I'm not sure how much you've thought that one through - they can't compete on wages with a CL club, so it'd be pointless to make their "best offer" until the window closes, as that's when they'd have a more certain idea of the incomings and outgoings (thus final financial situation).

It’s hard to tell who’s being a banter king saying he looks like going and who is genuinely saying he looks a bit sad

Can a real body language expert who’s watching clear it up for me please
Of course. If you’re a Villa fan, he looks like a fading bellend in the night sky. That’ll be a fiver, please

Happy to admit that I didn’t consider that angle, but I still think they either want to keep him (so should offer him something now, so he can decide to accept or not) or they are happy to sell at the right price (which everything points towards). If they wait until after the window and he doesn’t sign they are losing money anyway.

From what I can tell so far, they want to keep him but couldn't turn down a sizeable offer.

It follows that if they don't sell him in this window, they will no doubt take a punt on keeping him.

Will he go to villa, or hold on until January for Celtic to come back in?

I just have a feeling he will want to go to Celtic.

He does but Celtic are only offering half that and Hibs will not sell at that price. Problem Hibs have is St Mirren have a 30% sell on and McGinn is entitled to 10%. Once you take all that off and then take off 20% tax and agents fees, your looking at £700k

Edit: In the press now https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3033240/john-mcginn-celtic-aston-villa-hibs/

Listening to Bruce's comments last night it is clear Chelsea are not in the frame.... Why else would he mention Champions league football?
