ITV upgrade!

I see we have been upgraded to ITV1 on Thursday!!! Which is good for me as our ITV4 signal is very poor at the moment :grin:

I think the Sev ille game was on ITV 1 - I think it's just the importance of the game

IFrom a selfish POV I actually prefer the ITV4 coverage as they give us longer usually and more 'bigging up' but of course it is better to be on ITV1 as enables bigger viewership

ITV is way better than Sky in their approach to us (see Carling commentary for example)

ITV4's coverage is brilliant! ITV1's coverage is nowhere near as good...

Tho I guess it's good for people without ITV4...

Yea...My reasons are selfish ones as I live in a student house in Eastbourne where we dont even get channel 5.The times I have watched the ITV4 commentary I've always been impressed though and they gave us loads of build up before the games last year with old player interviews and the such.

I think the commentary on ITV is much better. David Pleat aside, is it Clive Tindsley that commentates? Who ever it is, he's ace.

It was Peter Drury who did the the semi vs Ar5ena1 and the cup final. He's brilliant.

yeah I think that it has more to do with the quality of our opponents then the fact we have won the cup. I remember last year the Sevilla game was on ITV1 but that may also have had something to do with it being the quarter final too

yeah but I think that that stage was the quarters. Think they moved it forward due to the opponents

ITV own the rights to all UEFA cup games from the QF onwards, which I believe they show on ITV1. However we're getting special treatment this week. Sadly I'll be missing both games anyway

Also there will be no pre-match now, as there was on the planned ITV4 programme

Not happy about this at all.

ITV4 give us 45 mins of build up and we get to hear Peter Drury (who actually likes us).

ITV will give us 15 mins max of build up and if I have to listen to the Scouse loving twat Tyldesley I'll go fucking apeshit.

I couldn't care less about the tight twats who haven't got ITV4. I have and that's all that matters.

ITV1 sucks bolllocks.
