I'll be in the minority then and enjoy watching our players do their thing on the world stage. This is really helpful, thank you!

Appreciate the breakdown. Can see S.Korea going out at the group stages so that should present a chance for Sonny to recharge for the second half of the season.

I fancy an Argentina/Brazil final but hope i'm wrong with my Spurs hat on as we could potentially be without Romero, Richarlison and Bentancur for Brentford.

I'll watch this bitch. Based purely on nothing more than the fact that money is involved in a dream team competition with mates.

Bale, Cliff Jones and Terry Medwin together. Three great men in our colours so felt this was appropriate for the thread.

The most wholesome five minutes you can watch today.

There's also a Bale documentary "the rise of Gareth Bale" on sky sports app so I need to check that out. I really hope we see some of that magic from him, just not against England.

Something I noticed is that no club has players from more different nations at the World Cup than Tottenham...
Code:
Tottenham Hotspur FC 10
Chelsea FC 9
Manchester City FC 9
FC Barcelona 8
FC Bayern München 8
Manchester United FC 8
Arsenal FC 7
Club Atlético de Madrid 7
Paris Saint-Germain FC 7
RB Leipzig 7
(Argentina, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Senegal, South Korea, Uruguay and Wales)

Which prem team has the most players at the world cup?
City, with 16..
Code:
Premier League (130 players)
  MCI Man City (16 players)
  MUN Man United (14 players)
  CHE Chelsea (12 players)
  TOT Tottenham (12 players)
  ARS Arsenal (10 players)
  LEI Leicester City (7 players)
  LIV Liverpool (7 players)
  BRE Brentford (6 players)
  FUL Fulham (6 players)
  BHA Brighton Hove (5 players)
  NEW Newcastle (5 players)
  NOT Nottingham (5 players)
  WHU West Ham (5 players)
  WOL Wolverhampton (5 players)
  AVL Aston Villa (4 players)
  EVE Everton (4 players)
  LEE Leeds United (3 players)
  CRY Crystal Palace (2 players)
  SOU Southampton (2 players)
There might be one or two errors, where I get the data from doesn't take loans into account (I had to change Rodon's team to Tottenham, for example).

Bayern have the most overall with 17 (although they might also be down to 16 because Mané makes it 17).

Edit - oh nevermind that about Mané, I thought he was out for the whole tournament but he's apparently only going to miss the group stage - which might or might not be the same thing, depending on if they get out of it without him but he's still in the squad.
