I think the OP has been misunderstood whilst at the same time, he could perhaps of worded it better.

Basically (I think), he's cheesed off about last nights result and felt he could best articulate that by way of a thread for us to express our mutual cheesed offness whereas everyone else said it in the match thread :D

And now it's turned into a cock joust :(
Have you found a pimple or something dude, you've got schlong on the brain today mate?

I see some members were highly offended by my "F*** Off and Support another club" comment, I just want you to all know that was tongue in cheek. I didn't mean too offend anyone, I have massive amounts of love for all of you and our club. :joyful:

Before the season it was widely expected us to finish outside of the top 4 and was seen to any reasonable fan as another season of transition. Now it's all toys out of prams and tantrums because we lost on penalties in the semi-final of the ever prestigious league cup, whilst being ravaged by injuries.

Wahhhh we want trophies, wahhhhh we want signings, wahhhh, wahhhh, wahhh. We aren't the only club to not have won a trophy in a decade, actually we're in the vast majority. People are entitled to be pissed off and people are entitled to be positive.

Personally I’ve never been happier being a spurs fan...
Best coach we’ve had in my time, love him!
Best player, love him!
Best squad!
Regulars in the CL - those great European nights are no longer something I hear about from the old timers, I’m actually living them!
Capable of competing with any team, even those who have spent more than ten times what we have on players in the last ten years, yet we have found a formula to compete - Pretty amazing to be fair, Stoke for example have spent more than double than we have in that time!

New state of the art training ground.
New Stadium apart from being delayed, is truly magnificent!!!

We are going in the right direction, watch us rise!

Only thing that is pissing me off apart from the handling of the stadium delays is investment in the squad, really wish we could go the extra mile and bring in at least one or two of the top targets Poch would like, he deserves the trust.

Gutted about yesterday but another example of how far we have come, depleted team, ravaged by injuries held their own against financially doped ****
in years gone by we would have folded with our best eleven.

Cheer up lads, we are on the verge of something great. Don’t forget to enjoy the ride!

Fine. Just don't tell them to support another club. We all have our own views but we're all Spurs fans who ultimately want the same thing: for Spurs to be successful.

I didn't tell anyone to support a different club. I said people who think this is depressing and calling for Poch's head etc. must be bandwagon fans who've only started supporting us a couple of years ago, in which case they're welcome to jump on the next bandwagon if they so wish. They're also more than welcome to support Spurs but if you're going to support us, support us instead of spouting all kinds of nonsense like one of the AFTV numpties. This is pretty much the best we've ever had it, and by quite some margin, unless you're old enough to remember the 60s so if you think this is depressing then I don't really know why you'd bother with Spurs in the first place.

Seems as if you're not allowed to criticise the club otherwise you get hate for it. I've been very excited as a Spurs fan since Pochettino came in - all we have seen is progression.

However, it's this very season where I am no longer feeling major excitement. Wahey, new stadium! That's great and all, but like Poch, I am also thinking long term, and I don't see how we keep this quality of team for years just because of a new stadium; we all know we're not going to invest in the top players Poch wants. Moreover, I'm not sure some players will have the patience to wait years till 'the revenue starts coming in' such as Eriksen.

Therefore, the destruction of the project can begin in the space of one transfer window if you ask me, and that being the summer one.

Overall, I'm still very excited and proud to be a Spurs fan. I know the heights we could possibly reach, which is made frustrating through greedy owners with their eyes only on profits, not trophies. However, I will stand corrected if this project is pulled off somehow. It just feels as if it's getting unlikelier the more time goes on.

You sound like my mum.

‘Mum, I’m starving!’

‘You’re not starving, think about those poor children in Africa’

Don’t judge me, I grew up in the 80s when Bob Geldof was everywhere and so was Ethiopia.

Love Tottenham,
and Mauricio and the boys.
Proud of their recovery last night.
Penalty shoot-outs
are a lottery.
We 'lost' this in the first leg
when we had all our 'stars
on parade.
Since then our squad situation
has deteriorated somewhat.

Finalists are 2 of the most
cash addicted junkies going.

Would it lessen the pain
if we went out earlier
and didn't get so hyped up about nothing
or stayed mid-table
and didn't have a
hope in Hell of winning anything
season after season.

If you want to bring History into it
normally we would have won that
on the away goals rule.

Angry last night at the injustice
of the world.
Much better now
and looking forward to Palace

If you're feeling p*ssed off now, imagine what it feels like being 0-2 down to Port Vale on a pudding pitch in late january and you have a couple of locals screaming down your ear "what's up with Spurs, what's up with Spurs?"

And you have no answer.

last evening mind you, typical of our luck that in any other season but this one we would have gone through on 'away goals' - it smacks of 2012 when we finished 4th only for you-know-who to edge us out by winning the CL.

I'm an optimist by nature, but even I occasionally wonder what we've done to upset the footballing gods.

Pretty sure many Spurs fans are so institutionalized to a lack of trophies, they just gloss over it and go "well we are 3rd in the league".

Really? So what? I mean it's good and all, but can't we just win some fucking trophies? The owner isn't spending the money so we have no hope of ever winning a PL or CL. So surely the other two cups are our best bet? or are Spurs fans just happy with finishing 3rd and 4th and never winning anything?

I thought last night was an absolute fucking disaster of a result. Yet again we lost to Chelsea in a big cup game. Unfortunately Poch is not showing himself to be a manager with a win at all costs mentality. Not so far anyway. Yes, we display remarkable consistency in performances and results under him generally, and do pull off some great cup results, but only at a certain stage. As soon as we get to a semi final, or a big knock out we generally lose.

We wouldn't have won the Final against City without Kane and Alli anyway. It wouldn't feel right not having Kane in the final with us but that is a separate thought and emotion.

There isn't a single doubt in my mind, that after 4/5 seasons with us, Poch should have won a trophy. He's continuously been schooled by other managers, in charge of teams with similar levels of talent. Conte first season in this league, won the league and knocked us out the FA Cup. Mourinho, cup semi last season. Sarri, first season here, won fuck all before, in charge of a team without a striker below us in the table, lose again.

It's really not good enough and I pity any Spurs fan who thinks it is. Time is fast running out for this team to win something. Eriksen and Alderwerield will be off in the summer. I feel like I say the same thing every season and it's the same old story. Poch doesn't seem to be able to take us over the line. I find it remarkable that with the talented team we have, we've been one of the top 3 sides in the country under Poch, we still haven't won a single trophy in 4 years. It's not great is it. On one hand, you commend Poch for making us a top 3 side, on the other hand you question, how the fuck can we be a top 3 side yet still not win a trophy? It's so frustrating.

We're 3rd in the league though.

For me, the Pochettino era has been wonderful. It's the journey, not the destination. (Let's face it, Man City's financial doping has made trophies MUCH harder to win.)

I was at the 2008 Carling Cup final and it was terrific, but three CL campaigns in a row beats one trophy amid years of mid-table mediocrity any time. Being in the Top 4, having excellent players, being talked about, being - above all - relevant. That's what it's all about for me.

This season Spurs and their manager have been magnificent amid ludicrous adversity. I'm appreciating that too.

It’s such fine margins. The media are a joke it’s anti Spurs poch going Spurs don’t win trophies etc etc , we certainly don’t have the cheque books of Liverpool Man C Man U Arsenal ( don’t let what’s been said about Arsenal transfer kitty fool anybody) Chelsea . Our budget is on par with Leicester/ Everton . I’m happy we’re not panic buying just to save face with squad fillers imo it’s better we enrol our development player until the right players at the price affordable comes along
