And news just in, Tottenham have agreed terms with Barcelona over the signing of Samuel Eto'o subject to passing a medical. The deal is thought to be in the region of £15 million.

But I'm not going to cream myself until the deal is signed and he is announced on the official site, which I still think is unlikely.

My thoughts exactly; I trust him but at the same time there is little sense in getting to worked up just yet.

There's very few players we could sign who would be an improvement on Berbatov, but Eto'o is one of them. I'd dismiss this as ridiculous, but seeing as I did the same with Modric and the ugly little genius has signed for us, I'll keep my opinion up my bangle this time. Would be a fantastic signing anyway, Eto'o is a nutcase but he loves a goal.

We were linked with him years ago as well, possibly before he signed for Mallorca.
