I don't know how any of our fans could not love him because he is a fan just like us. I'm sure we've all dreamed of playing for Spurs but this guy actually has the talent to do it for real and at a high level. His celebration at the end of the NLD win said everything about his passion for this club. I love how humble he is though and he doesn't seem like a guy who will let it go to his head. He'll keep working hard to improve himself and for that reason I think he's more than a one season wonder. Watching him in training recently he was still chasing players down as if it were a competitive match and that shows the heart he has for this sport.

After today my admiration and respect for the kid has grown immensely, and it wasn't low to begin with.

He can be this generations Ledley if he wants to be. Mr Spurs. He was the first of our squad to get up off his knees and walk around applauding the fans all the way after the final whistle blew today. The dignity and humility of him in defeat was pretty poignant.

I think that if you were Cortois on New Years Day you could be forgiven for not liking him too much, I doubt I'd be pleased if someone had blown my back doors that violently. Actually I probably would be, but this is neither the time or place.

Love this comment about the Man Utd interest

When asked if it would be hard to turn down one of the Premier League's "big clubs", Kane said: "Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club."

I absolutely love how he's proved so many people wrong (including me!). He's made me look like a right twat infront of my mates now after I was less than complimentary about our chances this season if Harry Kane was the saviour! Sorry Hazza, I will never doubt you again................. unless you decide to take another penalty :cautious:
Or goes in goal again

Sky are doing everything in their power to twist this into Kane is flattered by Man U's interest and they should make a bid.

Seen that too. There was 101 different ways to make this into a 'Kane going nowhere', 'Kane happy at Spurs' but chose their own agenda driven headline. Scumbags.

If we can't get all Scouse about a homegrown striker electing to stay at Spurs rather than move to Utd, then what is the point....of anything?

The way this is being reported is very agenda driven

Half saying he is flattered by Man Utd interest, half saying he is happy at Tottenham.

Going to be another long window

Ian Darke was commentator for last nights U21's game. Harry had a slight chance 2nd half when Alex Pritchard did well to find him in the box, one touch & a shot later(sadly down the keepers throat) Ian Darke said something like "A month ago they were all going in" The media ****'s & half the PL fans are desperate for Harry to be a one season wonder. They are positively cueing up for it. I am desperate for him to shut them up next Season. As for his quotes after the game you can't help but feel proud to have him here. He's one of our own.

It was obviously just a polite way of brushing off the question - clearly about Man Utd's reported interest - but now it's the focus. Flattered will lead to 'might move in the future' then 'how long can Spurs hold him'. So predictable.

Being realistic I don't think that there is anyway he will stay at the club if we are just doing the old 5th or 6th, winning nothing groundhog day routine. He already joined Arsenal because he wanted to play, so clearly being a fan will not cloud his judgement if/when he has to make a decision about moving on.

Off course he won't. Rooney leaving Everton for United proves that and he is a proper fan of the club he left.

If he has a season like last coming up and we finish 6th he will be off as whatever people say about his love for the club...he is a professional footballer who want's to achieve everything in the game. He is not going to wait for the stadium to be built which even then there is no guarantee we will push on to the next level.
