Bayern Munich preps €93 million offer to Tottenham Hotspur, but Harry Kane has not pushed for exit

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Bayern Munich is preparing its next bid to Tottenham Hotspur for star striker Harry Kane, but there could be a few roadblocks.

First, Kane is reportedly on vacation, so any type of news from his camp, might be tough to get. Second, Bayern Munich’s alleged offer will fall short of the expected €100 million it will probably take to get Kane. Third, Tottenham Hotspur still has Kane in its plans for next season. Finally, Kane might not even have told Tottenham that he wants to leave yet.

They seem to think 100M Euros is what Levy wants, I'd think it would be in excess of £100M. Even then Levy knows he's worth more to us for the year remaining then anything they can offer.

I wonder what they have to do to prepare it? Are they breaking open piggy banks and counting up their 1 euro coins?

Touch of Goon about this.

If we had sold him to City two season ago, two wonderful things would have happened:

1. We would have started our rebuild two seasons ago (in that period of time not only did we fail to win anything, we actually went backwards. Those were two wasted years for us).

2. City most likely wouldn't have landed Halland and they wouldn't be the unstoppable force they are now.

But sure, let's all keep clinging to Harry Kane. He hasn't managed to lead us to a single title in over seven years (in fact, the time we got the closest to a major trophy, it was with him out injured, and once he returned it did nothing but harm the team). Let's all face it, it's time to move on.

I’m trying to understand your reasoning but he’s currently one of the best strikers in world football. For that reason alone I’d be disappointed (to say the least) if we sold him.

We might very well be in a relegation fight last season if it hadn't been for Harry.

It's time to part ways with Harry Kane, it was part some two seasons ago actually.
Last season, without Kane's goals and with our relegation-level goals condeded, we'd have been totally fucked.

Actually Levy mentioned 100 million pounds sterling
That's 117 million euros at today's rate. That'll be too much for the German's.
Financially we are as big as them. They just play in a one horse league that's slowly getting tighter

It involves rituals from the Necronomicon and sacrifices to Cthulu.
Dread Cthulu, may you rise once again from your eternal slumber in R'Lyeh and lay waste to our enemies, starting with that lot down the road.

I’m fairness to him he didn’t say sell last season he said 2 years ago for the purpose of rebuilding in the post Kane era which I guess he would say would’ve put us in a better position last season and therefore wouldn’t miss the Kane goals as they would be replaced with a more functioning team.

I mean he’s still wrong but that’s how I would steel man his position.

I have to believe that Harry will at the very least be curious with Ange - This isn't like when we got Nuno when he downed tools and just went through the motions. If he has done any research he might be like a lot of spurs fans who have gone from Meh to excited for the coming season.
I think if they could offer Harry a rolling 1 year contract (like what Ange had), with 250-300K per week and a clause that at the end of the season he can leave to go anywhere for 50Million then everybody will be happy and Harry can give it all and decide if he thinks he can achieve his ambition here with Spurs at the end of the season.

How many times do you think Kane is going to continue to say, "OK, I'll give it one more try, but next time, I am serious!"

If I were Kane - I'd be tired of the promises of a new dawn. I would want to be at a club where ambition is shown on a daily basis.

I am not Kane, and I have no idea what is driving his decision-making on this right now - but I can understand why he would want to leave, and I can understand why he would stay.

I don't think Kane treats this like supporters do - it's not an emotional decision. Its a business decision based on what he thinks is important.

I agree with everything you said except it not being an emotional decision for Kane - I think it is, to his own detriment he is so loyal to Spurs and would choose to fulfil his ambition here if he can. The problem is, can he do that here - I believe he can, but most people don't but all that matters is what Harry believes.

As much as it would suck, I could see him going for €100M if it was offered.
