Is it fair to say Harry feels zokora is a squad player?

I do, and i am pretty pleased Hudd and JJ are being put ahead of him in the first 11. Anyone disagree?

Before today Zokora had started our last 5 games.

I would nt say that 'Arry is picking JJ and Hudd over him just yet.

Only time will tell as to what 'Arry thinks of him

I hope so. Further indication of this was when he brought on O'hara instead of Zokora.

Although i would imagine that O'Hara was bought on to replace Bentley as O'Hara is a tad more of a wide player then Zokora.

'Arry does like his African midfielders so i think Zokora could yet have a future at the club

Many of zokoras recent starts have been due to JJ being injured, it would be fair to say though

I hope so.

We are a different team without him....even with JJ's appaling performance today the midfield still looks better without Zok. More fluid and creative and Thudd is a much more effective player.

It's too early to say. However, as somebody pointed out, O'Hara was brought on for Bentley as he's a more naturally wide player (and is left-footed). I assume/hope that Harry learnt from last week that you can't have Jenas, Zokoro and Hudd in a 442

Ohara was the natural choice to replace Bentley, good left foot, used to playing wide left, and defensive minded. it says nothing to me about Harry's opinion of Zokora.

I think Zokora has had his time with us to be honest.

A good honest, hardowrking player but we really do need to go out and obtain a good defensive midfield player to replace him if not possibly in January, definitely in the summer.

In Jan our priorty must be a D.M. if we do that I can not see anything but a squad player in Zokora.

I was watching the Sunderland/West Ham game after the spurs one and Scott Parker would be a great signing in Jan

at first when the papers said Redknapp was interesting in him i thought we should be aiming higher but i reckon he will do very well for us IMO kind of like Woodgate

he should be cheaper than Diarra and he is english

also he should be more loyal than Diarra as he will probably be off the moment Real Madrid or someone comes calling

Have always rated Parker but for me he is injury prone so may be a bad bet, would like to see Diarra though.

Zoko may be the better (clumsy) athlete but Hudd can change a game with a single pin point pass. Not to mention he has a right piledriver of a shot on him. From where I was in the stadium I thought that curler of his today was top corner bound

Not the poin of the thread. It was to do with the fact that as soon as JJ was back, he was back on the bench.

zokora is a good player to have in the team he gives 100% all the time he can play anywhere and never gets a bit of credit
