I remember Jose wanting Brozovic at Man Utd, so there could be some truth to it. But could also just be a case of an outlet doing 2+2

I'd be amazed if Ndombele left this summer. He has so much talent and potential and being settled as well as having an injury free season could see him being the second name of the team sheet every week.

Hey I mean why bother developing the talent you have on the rare occasion we both will spend the money and another club doesn't beat us to the punch.

Better to flog for 70 cents on the dollar after 1 disrupted season

Brozovich would be perfect for us IMO, but Hojbjerg seems to be the preferred target (probably down to finance).

I have never seen anything from Brozovic that would make me want to give up the potential of NDombele for him.

The thing with NDombele getting gassed etc is...

For 3 (and a half) consecutive seasons the same player was our most commonly substituted player and had the lowest number of minutes per start (so was both substituted early and often.

And that player was, of course, Mousa Dembele.

Yep, great player but had to leave England to extend his career. His body had quit by the time he left.

Plus, his attitude to endure that 3.5 years was perfect. NDombele doesn't strike me as a guy who cares as much and Jose doesn't seem like a manager that would tolerate it. Gotta cut our losses here.

“Croatia probably have the best midfield players in the competition if Paul [Pogba] plays like he did today then Paul, [Blaise] Matuidi and [N’Golo] Kante is a fantastic group, ” Mourinho stated, as relayed by Metro. “Modric, Rakitic and Brozovic is the same level. I think Croatia has a great mentality and fantastic midfield players to control the possession of the game.”
