Hello folks,

as I live only 4 driving hours away from Milan and I never went to San Siro before I am looking forward to visit this match.

So I collect some information to organize this trip and maybe some of you can help me and others because of our Champions League experience there.

Some questions:

1) Do you know a cheap and friendly hotel near the stadium where you don't need to speak italian?

2) Parking at the ground possible, or should avoid it?

3) Is it risky to wear our colours? (Heard the terrible stories of our supportes getting attacked in Rome and Lyon)

4) If I am not able to get a ticket through Tottenham, what can I do? Is viagogo.com a good address and in which blocks you can sit to shout for Spurs?

5) Anything else important to notice?

An advice from me: At the game ACMilan v Barcelona the security strictly refused to let people in who hadn't tickets with their name on it !!

Happy about every information!

some mates stayed here for both the Inter & AC games..10 minute walk to the ground.

No need...avoid

We had no trouble in Milan last time for both games. If your worried go to the ground early and buy the usual scarf with both Inter/spurs on and then no one will know who you support.

4) If I am not able to get a ticket through Tottenham, what can I do? Is viagogo.com a good address and in which blocks you can sit to shout for Spurs?

For both our CL games they sold tickets through some Italian banks, can't remember the names, take a look on Inter's website.
Also there was a round kiosk that was selling tickets from midday on the day.

Upper tiers of the Curva Sud, just below where our lot will be positioned, loads of us in there for last Inter game.

Hope that helps fella, have a great trip.

Thanks so far.

Another question:

I would buy two tickets via Spurs for my girlfriend and me. Is it a problem at San Siro if the ticket of my girlfriend doesn't has her name on it?

When we went to AC away last time we brought tickets in the home end off touts which all had Italian names on. They questioned it then just let us in anyway so you should be fine

Body Armour, full visor helmet, tear gas and flash bangs. Solid lightweight instrument with a heavy head for clubbing...

And about 2000 others wearing the same and drilled in melee combat... :cautious:

Bought two for AC game via Viagogo. No problems at all. Didn't get asked for ID, despite the names on the tickets not being us. Luck of the draw, I suppose. You can read my piece on that night, if you're interested, at the link in my sig. :)

Luck of the draw or your jet black hair had you passing as Italian, lol. Not sure my messy mop of blonde hair would fare so well !

We bought tickets directly off the Inter website and picked them up at a kiosk at the ground; no issues (think they were only about 20 Euros as well). If you are getting a ticket in the home end, don't get one through an internet site, go to the Inter site directly. If you want one for the away end the internet sites will be your only option; you won't get two from the club if you only hve one membership.

We got tickets in a block where there were a lot of other Spurs fans, though it was mainly Inter fans. We were cheering and going mad as if we were in the away end, without incident. The Italians were quite happy about us being there and we had some good banter. However, they were 4-0 up and if it had of been a little closer, I'm not sure how us being there would have gone down.

Just be careful where you stay as the metro only runs so far after a certain time and you could end up with a heafty taxi fare if you are too far out.

Get the metro and the special bus to the ground; don't bother with drving.

Ha ha, yeah come to think of it, I was wearing a puffa jacket, had half of tub of gel slicked through my hair and was making sexist comments on the half-minute while chainsmoking.

On second thoughts, I've definitely got a chance then. Will pull the old Carlo Rizzi blond northern Italian descendant line
