Bullshit. Wanyama, Dier, Dembele, And Sissoko are all injured. That’s nothing to do with being left short because of lack of transfers.

Wanyama and Dembele were fucking finished before the season started!

We needed two centre mids back in the summer. It’s only Sissoko stepping up that has kept us ticking over in that position.

Shocking squad “building”

Was always going to pay the price for it at some point. Just hope it doesn’t ruin the season from now onwards

Well it only consists of Winksy now and he looked injury free when he went off so it’s all good!

4-1-5 is our new formation

How on earth have we allowed this situation to develop! Ridiculous

The answer isn’t bad luck either, it’s terrible preparation and squad “building”

Gonna cost us one way, be it on the pitch this season ( no cl and empty handed again ) or off it in the summer ( literally going to cost us an absolute fortune to stand still )

Such a shame because right now, we should be excited about our immediate future but it just feels like it’s all about to unravel to me.

It's called taking a wild punt.

Bang in trouble....!
no midfield and no strikers.
thankfully our defence is pretty much back to full strength but we are bang in trouble now with our season on a knife edge with big games coming up in cups and CL that Kane & son are going to miss

Son won't miss CL (unless he picks up a knock in Asia Cup) he is due to miss max 4 games

if we had managed to sell Dembele and Wanyama in the summer (pretty hard to sell when they have injury issues) then we might of bought. the only way we buy a player now is if 1 of those definitely get sold, or Levy and Poch take the hit and leave them out of the squad for the 2nd half of the season. just can't see 2 top earners being left out, so hopefully we sell Dembele, put Wanyama on the operating table and call it a 4 month lay off. Then hope we can buy someone in our price range that wants to come, and can hit the ground running

Think we will have to play 5 at the back and just look to keep clean sheets for the next month in the hope that we can knick a goal from a set piece or a moment of brilliance from Dele or Eriksen. For what it’s worth I still think that llorente can do a job but only if we play to his strengths which may go against Pochs principles but needs must at the moment.

Would be gutted for Kane if he missed the first game at our new stadium.

But then again, it'd have to be some fucking injury for him to miss the start of next season.

This.

The amount of times we bring Llorente on without changing our style, the guy doesn’t and never has played like that. He’s a beast in the air and in the box. He isn’t going to pick it up like Kane does and drive at a defence. It’s all about whipping balls into the box for him to attack. If Kane is out, Son is away, it’s basically him or Moura (Lamela can’t play there for me) but we have to adjust how we play.

It'll be 4-6 weeks if it's the same injury he's done before, which is what it looks like. Same ankle, same movement.

I don’t think it looks the same at all. He didn’t roll it over in the coverage I’ve seen. More a contact injury. What do I know, but I’ve a feeling he will be ok. It’s impossible for us to have any more bad luck with injuries isn’t it?!?

Simply put. Crouch > VDV = Llorente > Alli

You'd think Dier's awfully timed appendicitis would be the pinnacle but you never know with Spurs!

I think the big concern is his reaction, which hardly looked promising. Certainly didn't look as severe as the Bournemouth one.

Could do with an update on Moura. He's been massively inconsistent this season but a front 3 of him, Lamela and Alli wouldn't be the worst. Winks and Eriksen holding. That said, they'd still get overrun by Chelsea. A real shame unless Dier/Dembele are back and even then, there's no guarantee

I think it was just another thing to add to him being pissed off that we didn’t win the game. To lose in the manner we did yesterday would be hurting him as much as it hurt us.

Good things are it was the other ankle to the previous injuries, and he walked off albeit gingerly. I don't think it will be too bad.

I also noticed this. A lot of reports, including the one from arch-gooner Jiggins claiming info from Kane himself, suggested it was the right ankle which had been injured previously.
