I don't know, I guess it depends on how severe the fracture was and if there's any danger if further damage. If he does decide to wear one I think as an outfield player he would need PL/FA/FIFA approval to wear some kind of headgear.

By the same thought process, surely Arsenal won't be able to replace them with high quality players without CL football? The same Arsenal who nearly always finished above Liverpool, by a distance too.

Both clubs boards are as equally unambitious as the other if you look closely enough. Liverpools owners want regular CL football. Not much else. Our biggest worry below us is from Manchester.
