btw... what are the rules of his hair? if he scores in a pre-season friendly, is it counted? or must it be in an official match?

Only the lunatic fringe and usual kneejerkers who base everything on the last game... the majority of us wanted him gone a long time ago.

Must go this summer, no excuses.

I obviously appreciate the thought behind it, but it was stupid. A few times this year he hasn't been able to clear his lines with headers because of his hair.
But he can cushion it and hide it and then make a run like the brazilian from some years ago.

Huh?

Must be no more than a bench player, but ludicrous to suggest a Yid of 10 years has to go. If he wants to fight for his spot than good on him.

Yes he does. He isn't good enough. He isn't required quality for a bench player, he isn't of required quality to even be a reserve. He is just a drain on resources.

No letting him stay 'because he wants to'... ship him out to the first taker.

Well that's just silly. He was very good off the bench late in the year, and it's completely unfair to say he isn't reserve quality.

You may not like him, I don't know why, but take a step back man.

Very good? :ROFLMAO: Had an easy match to come into against Everton and then admittedly against City played one of the few meaningful killer passes of his career, but if that is 'very good' then you aren't setting your standards very high.

As for the bit in bold, it's simple I don't rate him based upon the X amount of years evidence of him lumbering about in centre mid displaying fault after fault. Occasionally playing an aesthetically pleasing (but in the scheme of things, not actually very effective or incisive) pass across pitch to the winger is enough to placate his fanboys it seems, but I judge him on more than this and he brings very little to the table.

He needs to go. Face up to it.

Maybe because he was atrocious at the end of last season. Re-watch the games, watch Huddlestone pass to no-one, fail to beat the first man with his corners, head the ball about 4 yards and stand like a statue as player walked past him.

I'm no Hudd fanboy, I used to like his work under Jol/Ramos and when he was fit under Harry but I don't think he has the fitness to play AVB's game. Big mistake to start him, but I think he really stretches teams in cameo appearances.

Its a shame he's a fat bastard. If he had a smaller physique he'd be one of the best players in the league.

Nobody in the league can pass a ball better than him.

That said, the guy is 26 now, and needs to be playing regularly, and he wont get that here. And he needs a haircut ffs
