I was speaking to some of my mates who arent spurs fans and the seem to think berbs has had a bad season but 23 goals and i think 15 assists doesnt sound bad to me what do you think.

Just because he's not in the headlines for his performances does not mean he's had a bad season. As you say, 23 goals an 15 assists say otherwise.

Watch the bids roll in. The guy is sheer class and the whole world of football knows it unfortunately. Even stats like goals and assists don't do him justice, and every manager out there has a big enough ego to be convinced that they can handle the occasional sulk. There's no way you could say he's had a bad season, although he was poor at times before Jol went.

I think they don't know what they're talking about -

the market values Berbs even if they don't

I voted slght improvement as we won something

If 23 goals and 15 assists and the season isn't finished yet is a bad year, I'd wish he would have an average season for us next year as that would mean at least 30 goals and 20 assists. If he could hit a great season, he'll score 40 and have 30 assists to take us into the CL.

I voted same as last year, he has once again been excellent and head and shoulders above anyone else. The team around him has not preformed and that is why we have not been as consistant (the disruption of managment did not help this)

Next year will be better league wise I have no doubt. If Berbatov stays it will be better still but surely that midfield will be greatly improved upon

His record in the UEFA has been excellent. DC- what a penalty, I was behind the goal. The best thing was the coolness with which he dispatched it and the look on his face when he whacked it back in. Whatever he does this summer- minus going to Arse- you cannot deny his love for the club and how, in his own way, he gave his all when it mattered.
