isnt it 3-4 seniors and 3-4 youths that are being used when unveiling the new kit? I'm sure Cudicini, Modric, Kranjcar and Keane can pull it off.
Bigger factor might be that the players are off on holiday.

The way it works, i would imagine you could just ring up and say you're a member of a forum and want the heads up so you can claim to be ITK and have loads of people admire you and you hugely impressive e-peen :lol:

Not that I think it will be unveiled on Friday, but the players have already been photographed in it, as on the front page. All that remains is for a sponsor to be confirmed and photoshopped on most likely, so the players being absent will not be an issue which determines the date of unveiling.

Thinking out the box here.... Isn't the idea of an unveiling to drum up publicity? So deliberately keeping everyone in the dark and then suddenly springing it on the press is a bit counter-productive? I can imagine the sponsor may be unveiled as it breaks for business reasons but i'm sure the kit would be delayed a bit to drum up publicity.

Last season we had about a few weeks' notice didn't we?
