We played terribly and won, I'm happy with the result but the performance was absolute toilet. To the person who said the OP was a nasty dimwitted attention seeker that's not only offensive but possibly the dumbest thing anyone's said this evening. The OP is obviously not an "attention seeker" just a concerned fan who realises that if we put in performances like that every week, which under 'Arry ain't rare, we'll be in some trouble. Utilize your brain before typing.

The reason he keeps harping on about the 2 points from 8 games is because he probably reads forums like these and wants to remind some very ungrateful fans that we were absolute dogshit when he took over. So 26pts in 18 games isn't much to shout about, correct, but it is when that same side took just 2 pts from 8 games.
A draw would've been a fair result. At best we played average tonight, but in my opinion, that's down to the fear factor in that we're too scared to lose to express ourselves properly, which was all brought on by our start to the season in which Harry was not involved.
There are some people on here that just won't give Harry any credit at all no matter what he does. Maybe, just maybe, resting certain players on Thursday got us this win, as people have rightly pointed out we looked stronger and fitter as the 2nd half went on.

Ho f***in hum. A thread labelled "Harry post match interview" suggests to me it might contain a transcript or at the very least a link to guess what - Harry's post match interview!!!! But no. Here's me thinking I can catch up on what Harry's said about the game, but all we get is an attention seeker. Harry? I should think he said a lot of things, and no the 2pts from 8 games thing doesn't surprise me, but no, the dimwit who posted it just goes vents his spleen. Why not call the thread "me having a go at Harry about his 2pts from 8 games jibe"
And who's saying the performance wasn't toilet? Not me, but I'm long enough in the tooth not to trust the opinions of people who appear to have an axe to grind, and that's exactly what the opening post of this thread screams out.

We're not playing very well, I agree, but Harry is right about that.

I've just watched a bit more of that interview and i think he's referring to the fans who were interviewed on C5 last week at the game. They were moaning about the team selection and Harry's just confirmed that he sees the league as the more important, added to the fact that a whole bunch of players are ineligible for the cup anyway. He seemed a bit pissed off and i can't blame him. I genuinely think there are too many fans who are expecting too many things too quickly just because we're Spurs. They have to forget about our glorious past just for this season and recognise we've been shit since last season's cup final and a turnaround doesn't happen in the space of a couple of months.
