He can sign a pre-contract with a foreign team in 6 months time.

We can't be too picky with the fee.

£86m + £10-15m in add-ons is still not terrible.
I think that would be best case scenario tbh, reality is that if we don’t sell him now he will most likely go to another PL team on a free. That really would be hard to stomach.

Well shit, but Bayern is about the easiest to stomach big club I can imagine him going to. Certainly it not being one of the Prem clubs is a huge relief.

Call me crazy but I reckon Ange will be absolutely fine with Kane leaving.

His whole schtick is arriving at clubs, shaking things up and having high turnover until the squad suits his style of play.

In his last presser he was waxing lyrical how much Richarlison specifically suits his style of play in a way he hasn't about Kane, despite being asked 1000 questions about him.

I reckon he just wants to get the money, stop the endless speculation and then have the capacity to mould the team in his image.

Was just talking strikers but yes we’ve seen so many great players come and go - onto the next.
Totally agree mate. I'm just hoping that we spend the money wisely, and Levy is listening to Ange and our data analysts, rather than looking for bargains like he has in the past.

I'm honestly over it

Gonna hurt but it's dragged in so much with him saying nothing it's obviously happening now or in a year.

More concerned with our defensive situation as attack wise we look great

If they wanted him as badly as everyone is saying they do then they would pony up and pay. If they're squabbling over it, Harry, they don't value you as highly as we do.

We need to make him a proper contract offer and if they do make an offer that's inside what Levy has decided is acceptable then it'll be up to H.

Rebuild around a generational club talent or rebuild without them years later. Naturally this club chooses the latter. Oh well, spilt milk, onto the next chapter.

Mate they have played a blinder like a big club . We do the same for every player we go for if not worse . Kane wants to leave not because he doesn’t want to be here but he’s held back that’s it !

There were reports we offered him a 400k p/w contract the other week. His alleged response was that he wouldn't sign a new deal this summer.

There has been a sense of inevitability that he was leaving for a short while now and it seems this meeting tomorrow will likely confirm that. The name I was given for his replacement was Muani so let's see if the club actually really push for him and make it happen. I don't trust Levy post Kane either but surely he has to target the likes of Tapsoba and Muani otherwise there might be riots.

The classic Levy trick would be to reinvest all of the Kane money but not spend any of the budget we we had allocated for transfers prior to the Kane sale (i.e. money set aside for VdV, Tosin or whoever).
