I never said he would. I said its not certain but clearly you know the future enough to say for sure. The point is there's more chance of it happening than if we sell him now obviously. That's part of the chance we could take by keeping him that there's just a small percent we convince him to stay longer. It's just something to consider in the pros and cons of keeping him.He will not sign a new contract.
He would be mad to when he can go on a free next season and sign for say 30-40 million, plus a huge salary that may take a three year deal to 52 million for a three year contact on top of that signing on fee.
A move to BM may well be worth close to 100 million to him over a three year contract, with add on's, sponsorships and endorsements.
He could be minted at just thirty five years of age.
