Apparently after the trophy ceremony the cameras picked up a conversation between two of our greats:

Tanganga "How can you leave after that"

Kane "I can't...."

Make of it what you will.

If ever there was a 1/2 of Football that proved a player doesn't suit a Manager's system it was today with Kane, we need a 9 not another 10 that just constantly gets in the way and is never in the box.
Is Richy the answer I'm unsure but I'm sure Kane isn't.

To he honest, I'm coming round to that way of thinking, the "if you want to go, just fuck off already", purely because of the constant water torture of articles everyday.

I'd still be happy to keep him for next season though, try and persuade him to stay and if not, well it's not my money and we are far from being a skint club.

I have got the feeling that there are at least a couple of posters who do want him sold though, this is SC and there's always a couple on contrary buggers here! 😂
No there aren't

Well it’s not laughable Is it? How many times I. Huge games to the very best players in the world turn up? Look at the final in the World Cup Messi and mbappe were completely unplayable.
How many times have we watched other world class talents turn up when it truly matters? Kane hasn’t done that.
I love Kane and think he’s the best spurs striker I’ve ever seen but the very best make stuff happen in finals and semi finals. When can you say he’s done that!
But he’s regularly turned up when it matters. Look back to May last year and his brace agains the scum got us a huge win catapulting us above them in the league and into the Champions league. That was a huge match against our arch rivals. Battle of the bridge when we were chasing Leicester down he opened the scoring. League cup semi against Chelsea he got the winner in the first leg etc. Granted we underperformed as a collective in the CL final and he was clearly not fit that day, I don’t remember much about the league cup final against Chelsea, but we can’t hand pick massive games and say he didn’t turn up and just ignore other huge matches in which he did. That’s why I’m not buying the “he doesn’t do it in the big games” narrative.

I seem to remember Corluka saying to Modric, 'How can you leave after that' – after the reception he got. Just saying!

Surely Ange has done enough now to convince Kane that he's the manager he's been waiting for and can deliver success? Roaring success already with the Tiger Cup Season has not even begun and he's raking em in.

Yep that's how a big club would act... As if stated money not an issue and it's clearly not.

Genuine question though, how many big clubs have allowed their star player to walk on a free whilst still at his peak? We did it once before with Campbell but that was a long time ago. I’m struggling to think of many cases of this happening during the last ten years. Pogba to Juve maybe but that was a mess.

It's obviously very amicable, whatever is happening. He (or his SM team, granted) been very active, with a lot of spurs related content still. You often see people wipe their Bio's etc of any reference, net alone continue to promote the club.

If that was the case, I’m sure the number 10 shirt would be promised to another player… oh. Maddison playing in 71 today, you say? Oh.

Best thing to do would be to get a sell on clause in the sale. If Kane is sold to a PL team in the next 2 seasons then we get 30-50% of the fee. That will put Bayern off selling and also effectively increase Kane's price during that period. If Bayern really want him then it should be an easy enough clause to negotiate.

Why care where he goes once he leaves Spurs? We should focus on the players here and not those who have left.
Let go........

Or, just a wild thought here, he needs a little time to adapt to not having to do it all himself. Do we really think a player with the ability of Kane wouldn’t fit in a system that creates opportunities?

No i don't think he can't but how long could it take? If we only have 1 season left with him is it worth the gamble or cash in?
