Quite sad that, as a best case scenario, the £130/140m for Kane will probably only get us Martinez and Vlahovic.

Unless one of them really explodes I can't see how this improves us much or even gives us a big chance of a rebuild tbh. Still going to need funds on top of that to buy another quality CB and maybe a CM or RW.
I think people are thinking Martinez and Vlahovic will put up Kane numbers and we'll be just fine but there's no guarantee that either will come or that they would do well here. I'm really sad and scared that this could be a huge mistake.

Lucky bloke will escape a return to WHL until next season. Would have been interesting to hear the reaction of us in the crowd

Very annoying that if the add-ons are significant we'll have to semi-support Kane winning things with City so we get paid what he's worth.

Guess I'd still rather they won the league than Chelsea.

well as much as people are excited i certainly am not. Were in huge trouble losing all of our goals and assists from last year :/
I literally couldn't give you potential replacements that id be excited about for him in world football let alone ones thatll come play in the Conference league?
Never thought I could full on dislike Harry Kane but hes literally done us dirtier than even Berba...
New chapter mate. Didn’t win a trophy with him here. Imagine the exciting players we can bring in with the money especially as so many clubs need to sell because of covid. Look how Liverpool flourished after the sell of Coutinho. It’s an exciting time for the club. In paratici we trust.

I dont think its as simple as that, every club sells players and every player has a price plus an unhappy player disrupts the atmosphere of the whole squad and we need everyone pulling together. He has completely destroyed his legacy at Tottenham and someday he will regret that im sure. Good riddance to.him, we as a club will rise more united and stronger . COYS.

Every big club sells big players and then get big players in to replace them. Let’s see who we buy.

Romano said in his stream that City haven’t given up but Spurs are still insistent on not selling him. Basically nothing changed from his POV it sounded like, other than a second bid being readied.

Well, I hope the sky blue medals are worth it for him. City fans won't remember which ones he won and when it's all over he'll be neither a Spurs nor a City legend.

Oh well, the club was here before Harry Kane, and will be here long after.

Just waiting for the ITK on whether they’ve changed the One of our Own Beavertown for Sunday yet or not

Spurs community! Don't go losing your pants, we are who we are. I'd like to think most of you are pre PREM Spurs and those that aren't have been educated so please don't turn into a twitter meltdown.. You get it! Yes it hurts when you lose your best but you come back stronger and believe. COYS

We need a proper striker today. We can't go into the season expecting sonny to play as a striker. It fucks up our strength in two positions.

Really pisses me off we couldn't get Bale back for another season knowing Kane was gonna go. I'd feel a shit ton better about things with Bale's goals in the squad right now.

Trix has said it could be tonight or tomorrow.
If that happened then it would.

What is the cut off tomorrow? 12?

Surely it has to be announced etc before being registered? Even if the deal is done I can't see them announcing it today/tomorrow...surely not?!?!

Sad times if true, but exciting times also if we get a couple of crackers in with the money. After all of this shite I couldn't have looked forward to seeing him play, but would be class having something new to actually be positive about and see us working towards the future. Hopefully we got the best out of him and leave City the dregs of his career :playful:

Kanes legacy fucked
Prick
Yep. He’s gone about it all wrong but hey looks like he’s getting what he wants. Will be booing the fuck out of the greedy prick when he returns because of how he’s gone about it all.

If he’d not come out and done the interview with Neville and missed training and put up that stupid statement etc etc his legacy would be more in tact but his legacy is tarnished now, such a shame.

Going to be very difficult to replace Harry's goals and assists

I think last season was a one time thing. He will never make as many assists again. The reason he got that many last season is because Mourinho parked the bus. We only had two players attacking, Kane and Son. So Kane got the ball and found Son on the counter.

Many more players will be involved now. I don't expect much this season anyway, with or without Kane. The important thing is to build a new team with young and hungry players, that will improve us over time.
