Wow incredible this is still rumbling on. 10 minutes on Sunday supplement about it.

“ Kane should address the whole issue, or it will just rumble into the World Cup”

Really ?

Ridiculous. What do they want him to address?

I don’t know where they are getting he is upset from. He hasn’t said anything about it. It’s nonsense, they’re guessing.

What should he say though? If he comes out and says "Yeah it really upset me" then it's just putting more fuel on the fire.

It's depressing that in the final weeks before a World Cup when England's squad far from picks itself and there are plenty of valid footballing discussions that could be had, the only thing England-wise that anyone is discussing is whether Harry Kane is too sensitive or not

Something quite not right with Harry at the minute but shows what an unbelievable goal scorer he is by still finding of the back of the net.

Amazing to think he scored his 38th goal of the season tonight and will be nowhere near our player of the season

105 league goals in 147 games

137 goals in all comps in 210 games

Incredible numbers. We still have to pinch ourselves to think that he’s ours

The other explanation for his current form might that he might be ‘pacing’ himself for the World Cup. Just a thought based on what I saw last night and him looking a shadow of the player from earlier in the season. The urgency has gone for whatever reason.

3 goals in 4 PL games since return. That’ll do me.
And the media narrative is he's in a slump apparantly.
Most strikers would give a bollock to have that sort of form.

Problem is he's a victim of his own success, but even when he's not quite sharp he's still productive.

Whether Kane himself says he's sharp or not, anyone who knows his game can see he's not quite at it with his all round game.

He's never been quick or a technically great dribbler, but his pure fitness, strength and sharpness allows him to bully defences and get away from tight marking and create for himself. That is rarely happening at the moment.

Fortunately, he's such a natural goal scorer that if he get's a chance he'll likely put it away.

He could do with the summer off but that isn’t happening. I worry what he will be like for the start of next season. Exhausted I imagine.

I'm not sure what is happening with Kane at the moment.

Usually he'll contest even lost causes but there has been so many occasions since he came back from injury where he's avoided 50/50s; he looks scared to get injured again.

I think a huge part of it is that he is desperate to captain England at the world cup.
