Not because of him though. He would love to sneak off on a free. Bale and his agent helped us get good value for his transfer and he got the transfer he wanted. The Kane brothers are pissing in the face of club and fans.

I agree that it's not comparable with Campbell. However, saying the club messed up seems a bit of an over simplication.
Listen to yourself, he can’t sneak off on a free, due to the big contract he’s on.
The club fucked this up, at 28 going through yet about her rebuild and more promises… it ain’t happening.

The reason he can't sneak off is because of Levy. That's my point, Kane doesn't give a shit about us getting some sort of value for him. And I'm not going to feel sorry for him either because of promises and whatever.

I've supported Spurs since 1990.
In all my time of watching Spurs, I'd say that Gareth Bale was the greatest player I've seen, in terms of ability and performances.
Harry has to be the second greatest though, because of his consistency over seven seasons (something like P:310//G:216).
We haven't had a goalscorer like that for decades.
PS FWIW Toby, Jan and Hugo should also be in this conversation, but it's difficult to judge defenders' performances and value to the team. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if a professional coach or scout would choose one of those 3 as our greatest player of the last 30 years.
