“things are not looking as rosy as they were earlier in the week

we felt he could well stay and sign a new deal.

we are trying to push things one way or the other over the coming days either he signs a bumper new deal or goes for 160 we may take Bernardo Silva as part of that deal

problem is neither of those two are live options and we are in total limbo, city knows they have done a number on Harry and his ill equipped agent they think the price will come down the more H and Charlie kicks”
Well who could of seen this happening? ?‍♂️ I mean seriously? Fucking millionaire business men not able to see this path?? If true of course. We all know his head is completely gone. What a prick.

The most recent offer would suggest otherwise

I dont think for a second his intransigence will be rewarded with a cut price deal on his terms

Truth be told Harry Kane was our Alex Rodriguez when who we really needed was Derek Jeter.
To those not familiar with American Baseball. Both players played for the New York Yankees at a time the Yankees were regularly appearing in the post season and challenging for the World Series. During the regular season AR was a great hitter winning the Yankees many a game while Derek Jeter was a consistent but unspectacular player. Come the post season though and those roles were reversed. AR would regularly be a no show whilst DJ rose to the occasion ;he was so good in the post season his nickname is Mr. October. We could have done with HK being a consistently good striker throughout the season but a great striker in the big Cup Games and Title affecting league games. Oh well.

As a former Yankee fan [removed baseball from my sports time], I couldn’t disagree with this more. Neither here nor there.

Harry is gonna go, and I just hope we fill it accordingly.

Aia is nothing to do with AIG as inferred earlier in the naming rights message. AIG divested it’s interest 9 years ago and AIA has been independent since then hence why at one stage in recent history AIG were on united shirts whilst aia were on ours...

Would send the worse possible message.

What makes this painful is we all know City can easily afford 160m! So why the run around? If they want him so badly then pay what’s being asked. Simple solution. Instead they seem more fixated on being as disruptive as possible. Only to get realistic probably during the last week of the window. Why? ‘Cos they’re classless pricks who just want to fuck over Levy. That seems to be their secondary goal. Unfortunately it has become the tail wagging the dog.

‘Former’? I don’t know how to be a fan and then not be a fan of a team. I was born in NYC. Bronx Bomber all the way. Also loved the Dolphins since childhood. Moved to the Uk when I was 6, fell in love with Spurs. Also fell in love with cricket. Supported Middlesex nearly as long as Tottenham. I’d have no idea how to switch off those passions. Though there have been times I wish I could. Perhaps you can share your secret?

Always loved and thought Kane was irreplaceable, but after watching him at the Euro’s, where I thought he was lazy and useless, I really don’t mind him going, get someone else in, who shows desire, we will be a better team..

His a judas **** like Campbell f**k him we get by without him we always do! Upwards and onwards,no player bigger than the club! COYS

Whilst I hate Campbell and not enamoured with Kane I think the fact we getting a couple of quid for Kane stops him being a fuckwit like Campbell.

Same bracket with campell imo
It isn't even close. I get people are on a downer with him and the situation but come on, that doesn't mean common sense should be abandoned in favour of the vitriol.

If people want to condemn him, that's fine, if he leaves on these terms then he deserves it but it doesn't have to be over the top or at the expense of recognition for what he's done for us.

This is nowhere near Sol sized realms of ****yness.

We should all just wait and see how it pans out.

Levy has set a price and should not budge an inch.

Either pay up or he stays.

Hopefully he has set a deadline as well because we will need to replace him. That deadline should be the first game of the season as it only leaves us 2 weeks to get a body in.

Whilst I agree with this, his actions have seemingly lowered his price significantly, all in aid of a corrupt sports washing incorporation that could easily afford double what they'll end up paying without batting an eyelid. He's not on Campbell levels for me, but he's probably one of the worst since.

Fuck kane, if he's named on the bench on Sunday I'll be voicing my feelings towards him from within the stadium.

If the ITK from dragon is saying that he is being a cock, just to drive the price down. Then we should make it public. He's doing it privately, just so he doesnt tarnish his reputation.

Levy needs to dig his heels in on this one.

Seems stupid but I could careless about getting the ££ if they are gonna kick up a fuss to reduce the fee. Let him sit out a season before the World Cup. See how much of a fuss he makes then.

No ones got any sympathy anymore. If you want out of a club you’ve been at since you were a youngon, where you’ve been adored by the supporters. Man up and say it. Don’t p*ssy foot around it.
