But if Hazard is rated POTY how should Kane easily win young POTY when Hazard is eligible for that especially as you believe Kane can win POTY too
Because I think the players would have thought Kane deserves to get an award.

I think he should take both awards. Will definitely get young player of the year.

Only Hazard will rival him for player of the year but I think Kanes achievements in a lesser team is incredible, and considering he hasn't played a full season in the premier league he has been sensational.

I'd give young player of the year to De Gea or Hazard. Probably the latter.

Player of the year should go to Harry, without doubt. He's joint top scorer playing in a team inferior to the supply Costa gets. That's pretty significant IMO and he's scored big goals in big games....two against Chelsea, and two against Arsenal.

Has Hazard scored big goals?...and how many penalties has he tucked away to? Yes he's a class act but Harry has had the biggest impact, without doubt.

I got a weird feeling that hazard for poty and de gea for young, which wouldn't actually make any sense.

Hazard seems to be the favourite with the bookies. He's at 1/7 at the moment.

Coutinho being nominated is a complete nonsense.

Better than Fabregas? Lloris? Aguero?

Laughable.

Calling them "nominees" is kinda misleading, given the votes have already been cast.

Hazard deserves it for me, not just for his goals and assists but his general play, always a threat and puts the shits up defenders, fantastic player.

I think if I had to make a choice and was really pushed, I'd have to agree, as much as I'd love Harry to win it but Hazard has been quite phenominal this season. I hate to admit it.

There should be only one winner. Kane is the story of the season. Simple as that.

As much as I agree with you on Kane, I do think that if you're a young player who wins POTY, then surely you must win both? I mean it's illogical not be the YPOTY yet still be overall POTY.

Also, De Gea is over-rated, don't think he deserves the praise he gets. Good keeper, but Lloris and Courtios are far better. Man Utd factor in play.

De Gea imo is one of the best keepers with his positioning and sorting his feet(just before a save) but he is overrated as a all round keeper

As for Courtois, I think he is overrated(people talk of him being the best in the league), one of the best keepers in the air but with saves low down he is poor imo and with 1vs1 he does the same thing all the time

But we agree on Lloris being the mutt's nuts right? :D

Contributing to a third of their goals is hardly criticism though really. Costa has arguably had the bigger impact, he's the difference between top 4 Chelsea of last year and title winners this year. His ability is less eye-catching though, and he's also a massive ****, something his peers seem to have noted.
Fabregas has made a pretty significant contribution too.
