BREAKING: The @PFA Players' POTY nominees: Diego Costa, Philippe Coutinho, David de Gea, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane & Alexis Sanchez. #SSNHQ

Kane should win YPOTY easily and it will be close between him and Hazard for POTY.

Whatever happens- Well Done Harry!!!

P.S. How has Coutinho been nominated for POTY?

Good luck to him, hope he wins one at least. How did Sterling get nominated for young player of the year?

Coutinho is one of the most overhyped players on the planet. Cazorla and Silva have been far superior to him this year, he only started having a few good games around February.

Also, De Gea is overrated.

I'll throw this out there as well. Hazard hasn't been anywhere near as good as people are making out he has this season.

Massive achievement just to be nominated for the big one. I'll be delighted for him if he wins either.

He hasn't been Ronaldo, Suarez or Bale amaze, but he has consistently made a decisive contribution for a team who are head and shoulders above the rest of the league.

On balance, If he got POTY I think it'd probably be fair.

Disagree (respectfully?). He's contributed to 20 of their 60+ goals in the league this year. 8 assists when playing with the second most potent striker in the league and it's not like Costa creates goals for himself.

I think his impact has been overstated massively. Costa and Matic have had bigger impacts imo. He's scored 12 in the league, how many were pens?

Never understood how a player of 24 can be classed as "young". It should be up to and including 21 IMO.

Contributing to a third of their goals is hardly criticism though really. Costa has arguably had the bigger impact, he's the difference between top 4 Chelsea of last year and title winners this year. His ability is less eye-catching though, and he's also a massive ****, something his peers seem to have noted.

How the hell is De Gea overated?

He's atleast on a par with Lloris in all departments. In fact I would say his distribution is slightly better than our number one.

Because I think he's overrated, obviously? What are you struggling with there? Seemed like a really simple statement when I typed it, not sure how I can make it any more simple?

I think he's good, but not as good as those that hang off his cock every time he makes an eye-catching save do. His distribution is probably just as shit as Lloris'. Lloris is a better all round goalkeeper imo, but that's your opinion and that's fair enough (I won't ask "how the hell" you came to that conclusion). Lloris is playing behind one of the shittest defences in the league too.

I don't want to fall out with you, bae. So I'm temporarily putting you on ignore, ok? I don't think being a **** comes into it, as Sterling is nominated

Whilst I do agree with you, it's pretty much universal for "young" player awards for the age range to be 23 or under (at the start of the season).

I think if someone is nominated for both awards and then wins POTY, they shouldn't be allowed to win YPOTY, but they aren't the rules unfortunately so I wouldn't be surprised if Hazard won both.

Hazard deserves it for me, not just for his goals and assists but his general play, always a threat and puts the shits up defenders, fantastic player.

But if Hazard is rated POTY how should Kane easily win young POTY when Hazard is eligible for that especially as you believe Kane can win POTY too
