It could be different with Levy and Abramovich away from direct negotiations. Likely to be Paratici and Boehly now.

I don't think the Chelsea fans would care too much anyway if selling Ziyech to us meant they could improve the squad elsewhere. I think most of us would have taken selling Bergwijn or Reguilon to Arsenal or Chelsea so we could buy a Bastoni say.

He's a good player, perfect rotation for us and the type of quality we should be aiming for but he's nowhere near Kulusevski's level.

That's not my point... it's how we sell the move from Chelsea to Tottenham to him ... first and foremost I bet he wants to play again... he's clearly not happy with his role at Chelsea... that's also back up/rotation player.

So he has to see us as a great opportunity. Especially coming from Chelsea.

The only problem I see with this is someone would have to miss out on the CL. Considering we have 3 RWBs I think it would have to be Matt Doherty, as Spence is homegrown. That could well explain a move for Dan James actually, either replacing Lucas or Doherty in the squad which allows us to bring in Ziyech too. But is James even CL HG being Welsh? Not sure!
