Chelsea have made an inquiry for Tottenham's Yves Bissouma. Despite only joining the north Londoners in the summer, the Mali international in another former Seagulls player who has been linked with a reunion with Potter at SW6.

However, the Telegraph report claims Tottenham do not want to sell Bissouma this month and have not entertained Chelsea's offer for the 26-year-old, which would include Hakim Ziyech moving to Spurs.

Mail has this story too,no doubt Bissouma getting restless as can't get a run in the team with Hojberg seemingly undroppable.

Chelsea now offering us the steam off their piss. They can fuck right off, and when they get there they can fuck off a whole lot more.

He should be playing, so its little wonder we'd be getting inquiries and that he'd be looking around.

Needs to be in for Hojbjerg now. Give him a run of games and I'm sure he'd impress.

Might as well let him go, Conte clearly doesn't rate him.
Agree. All the posters going on about just buying players Conte wants. Need to sell him, Spence, all our youngsters that other teams might want. Clears the squad for more Conte signings like the great Perisic

You can’t fault Højbjerg’s effort, but he needs about 4 or 5 touches to set himself for a sideways pass
Surely it’s time to give bissouma a run of games

The obvious difference in this scenario is that Bissouma will often let the ball go across him, swivel, and play a pass. Hojbjerg, by contrast, has to control the ball, often with more touches, and then set himself by which time opponents are on him and all he can do is pass sideways or backwards. Bissouma is a far more fluent player. I really like Hojbjerg but his technical limitations slow us down far too often.

Have we seen Bentancur/Bissouma as a pairing?
