Gomes needs to go play for Orient or someone, he's shit.
His mistakes have cost us games and points.
He is a liability and can fuck off

I have a very bad feeling that When West ham go down Harry will go for Green on the cheap, hope i am wrong.we should buy the Reading keeper Alex McCarthy as a number 2 keeper, England u21 keeper looks a very good prospect.

Rob Green is an improvement on nobody. I literally cannot think of a player I rate less than him. I honestly think I would cry if we signed him!

Lost patience with Gomes, I always used to stick up for him. Time to go. Sign Given

Too many mistakes that have cost goals and too many mistakes that have led to missed chances. He looks shaky on crosses, does not command his area well, has poor kicking ability, makes regular costly errors and punches when he could catch far too often. In summary - he needs moving on. I hope Cudicini will be in next game

But who? It's easy to just say "He's not good enough, replace him" but it's no like Harry can pop down to Tesco's and pull a Cech off the shelf.

Name 1 viable keeper that is better than Cudicini, will come to us without CL games and accept the wages we play.

People like that just don't exist.

Why does he have to say who? He watches every Spurs match and can clearly see that Gomes is making too many mistakes and doesn't see any keeper making the same mistakes that he is on a consistent basis. He's not a world football scout, he knows that Gomes isn't good enough and is costing us points and confidence consistently and feels he should be replaced. Spurs scouts should have profiles of players who can improve the current squad and that's the we should go from

With comments like that you make me embarrassed to be classed in the same bracket as your good self.

Ever heard of supporting a player when he is going through a bad patch. You should try it, it makes you feel fucking great when they come out of it better, stronger.

He made a mistake today, he rectified it and yet you bitch about it.

Sorry dude, but that's a load of bollocks. We are better than that. Well, some of us are.

I agree with those who say we should at least be looking for a new keeper but don't think Given is the answer. He hasn't played for two years and is being kept out of the team by Hart who has had his own dodgy patch this year.

Given was a good keeper but I think his time has been and gone. If he wanted to be a top flight keeper he'd have left City a while ago.

I'd take Given in a heartbeat, if we could get him.

If was was willing to forgo City's big wages to play first team football I think that would demonstrate the right attitude.

I don't think he would though.

Don't know a lot about Joe Lewis but i have seen Alex McCarthy a few times, he is a big keeper that has a good kicking ability and will come for balls and will get their.

Not as good and Shitty won't sell to us after the Corluka affair.

Given not as good as Gomes? Totally disagree - Given has been a top performer for years and is only not playing as City have one of the top up and coming keepers in europe in front of him. I would love to sign Shay Given

I think it is good ettiquette that if you state someone is no longer acceptable then you should have some clear idea on how to go forward. Or every post just degenerates into "Fucking Gomes.... fucking Pav.... Fucking Jenas" etc.

Very well said
