As I'm guessing most have seen, Orban had a barren spell after his move didn't materialize and he was said to be quite unhappy

But he's just got a hatrick tonight in the EConL which makes 4 goals in 2 games

I wonder if Gent will be more willing to let him go at a reasonable price after his bad run

They showed his goals on my feed and it was a header, a pen and a 2 v 1 open goal tap-in against an Icelandic side who have never taken a point in Europe and who are 4th in their domestic league.

That said, maybe it will improve his confidence going forward.

Well, in theory I wouldn't mind a £13m outlay and loaning him out to a new environment.

This time last year he was still in Norway and it's not always easy to get the kind of attention he got last summer.

His form might have dropped but not his ceiling as a player.

I suppose the question is how far do we think he is ahead of Veliz?

I think we were all of the view he'd be coming in to start when we were linked previously.

With Richarlison's form that probably isn't the case now.

Watching him up against Nusa in the Belgian cup atm.
Clearly quality there, get the feeling he's playing on half machine ever since his club priced him out of a Prem move though. Maybe says something about his mentality, both that he can turn off like that, but of course also that he can go into overdrive like he kicked off his career with.

He has barely played. Seems he was played in Conference league.
Overall has 12 goals in 1600 minutes, which is not a bad return.

I dont think this is a bad punt to get him for 15m€.

We don’t need any more “punts” imo.

The next attacking signing we make should be a proven quality goal scorer and match winner in the final third….. whether that’s a number 9 or a wide forward.

I said in the summer that I think this guy looks really poor in general play and I think he’d get swallowed in the PL due to that.

Agree. With some young forwards coming through with a bit of quality in Donley and Lankshear.

We don't need more striker 'punts'.
