Spurs representatives had been in touch with 21-year-old Gent striker Gift Orban over a potential move, though at the time this was with a view to keeping Kane beyond the summer.

Spurs recently asked Brighton & Hove Albion about the availability of Republic of Ireland international Evan Ferguson and also touched base with the player's representatives, but he is set to stay at the Amex Stadium this summer and likely the foreseeable future.

Two great prospects, with Orban having the true potential of delivering the goods.

So reminds me of Defoe.

we should go get Mason Greenwood out of Manchester, the kid deserves a second chance also get Brennan johnson as back up.
what a strikeforce, they would turn the league upside down.

I’m going to assume you are joking.

You either believe in rehabilitation or you don't.
I don’t for crimes of a sexual nature, if you have it in you to commit those types of crimes then it’s always in you - hence why so many repeat offenders.

I also don’t really get where he has been held to account, apologies/taken accountability & worked to being better 🤷‍♀️

besides all that. Once he was good, does not mean he’s any good now and I’d rather someone proven & bring less craziness, embarrassment and heat to this club. We’ve had enough of it already.

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

If he'd been done for shoplifting or something similar yes but I don't think that he would be welcomed at the club. If Man U fans are unwilling to, why would we?

you do know that it was the young lady the actual victim who dropped the charges and before anyone says it NO! i don't condone his behaviour .
Abuse victims do this all the time - a "take me back, I won't do it again" then kids to think of and mass hate she got etc. Come on now, you hear it all the time. The transcript is vile. Adults know not act like that. Bad apple.

Anyways, whatever. I don't want him anywhere near we are done with incompetence and scandal at this club (or at least we should be!)

Think about this, as a victim whose identity was public knowledge,
she could have made millions if she sold her story but she chose not to.
just something to think about

I know what Mason Greenwood deserves, and playing Premier League football isn't it. What he deserves involves a rusty spoon.

As much as I liked Defoe, I hope Orban’s ceiling is a lot higher than a player who was essentially a good mid table PL player. He reminds me more of Aguero in his play style, while that’s a bit ambitious it’s more the level we should be hoping he can emulate

Defoe scored 91 in 276 games only 4 were penalties (Kane had 33 and Greaves 27).

He is overall ranked 9th at Spurs, level with Keane.

How fucking high is your ceiling?
