Or Chelsea continue their spending bender and bid stupid amount and we lose out for taking so longCould very well be that we are waiting to see if any smaller clubs come to an agreement for Orban and then we come in and match. Let them do the negotiating.
Apologies for posting an aggregator account but as it from a live chat I figured it be okay.
Personally I’m not completely convinced by David so I’m not overly upset about not going for him HOWEVER I find it shocking that €60 mil is deemed too expensive. Sort of puts into perspective what sort of targets we are looking at IF this is true if corse. And in general why would we look to sign players we don’t completely trust.
Is it expensive for David? He scored 24 in 37 last season. Like I said I have questions with him and I’m not sold but I’d 100% expect him to be valued at around that if not more.60m is definitely too expensive for David. And it's especially too expensive if 10-20m more gets you Vlahovic.
Don’t think it’s that expensive when compared with 35/40 for Orban though. Is it expensive for David? He scored 24 in 37 last season. Like I said I have questions with him and I’m not sold but I’d 100% expect him to be valued at around that if not more.
My question is tho is that €60 mil specifically for David is considered too much or €60 mil in general for any striker is considered too much. I read it as the latter hence my original point. If it’s just for David then I’m not so fussed as I mentioned even if that is probably an expected valuation.

I think the key phrase there is “don’t want to spend big on someone they don’t 100% trust.”
Which seems perfectly reasonable to me.
I think we’d have wrapped this up by now if we were going to. I honestly think we are done for the window.
Lacazette scored 27 in Ligue 1 last season. Balogun scored 21.Is it expensive for David? He scored 24 in 37 last season. Like I said I have questions with him and I’m not sold but I’d 100% expect him to be valued at around that if not more.

But we're not paying 35-40 for Orban, are we?Don’t think it’s that expensive when compared with 35/40 for Orban though.
Probably not but that is the price getting thrown around. But we're not paying 35-40 for Orban, are we?
