Well he is not an assist maker or goal scorer. We need one that is more creative than Dembele is IMO, this guy doesn’t seem to be that. Although I was impressed with him at Sevilla.

this is ridiculous. so we refuse to spend 70m to buy guys like pulisic and martial, but this guy who Inter sold to valencia for 25m this summer? make no sense at all.

Being in for this guy now would really be the kicker to this TW. He had a very good year at Valencia after a not so great spell at Inter where everyone seemed to suck. He seems to have held off perm signing for Valencia amidst many press links to us but now we want him when Valencia have no reason to accept less than a buyout number we are unwilling to pay for attacking players.

Im not so sure.

IMO yes. Wanyama injured again (same knee as last summer), Winks recovering from injury, Dembele iffy fitness and possibly off. Our CM options are flaky to say the least.

At this point I'd take him.

Yes, we should have gotten him on the cheap last year and moved Dier to CB. His skillset would have allowed rotation with Dembele or Wanyama. He is a good player.
